Hola Malhombres!

I'll be back in the gulch with 3 friends.. 2 at SL the other 2 at Casa Vino. I've got 2 DR newbs in tow which is always fun... love to see their faces the first time they walk in.

Signed up on the calendar.. just checking here to see who's in town that week.

Great idea for first timers...

I'm sure things have changed so much since my last trip that I could probably use a refresher walk.

I've been down several times since my first back in '92. The first is always the best. The excitement and astonishment of seeing the DR for the first time always stands out. But every trip has it's high points.

The gulch is kinda like golf.... there's always one stroke that makes you want to come back!

I hope you enjoy your trip. I'm at the SL all week.. Stop by and lets have a beer! And feel free to PM any questions you have before you leave.

Will be in town for the weekend. I'm bringing a 1st timer, and we'll stay at Amistad. We arrive real early on Fri, at 5:30 am.

In May when I did this trip, I was up for more than 40 hrs before I crashed late friday night. I get kind of goofy when I'm sleep deprived. But in San Jose, at least we're not puta deprived.

See you at SL on Friday

Early Bird

hey joecmp. graywolf here. this looks like its starting to shape up nicely.
you, your friends and now early bird. as hannibal used to say on the a-team. "i love it when a plan comes together." you'll probably have to pop my eyes back in my head after the first couple places we hit. hope I don't make too many mistakes. just slap me in the back of head if I do. july 18,here we come.

I'm a greenhorn newbie (as well as a friend of mine that will be tagging along). We will be in CR July 24th and departing on the 29th. I'm gathered a great deal of info from the forums - thanks kindly!.

Hopefully we can run into one of the "professionals" who have more information on what we should/should not do while in country while there. We both look forward to the trip and will even bring duct tape to secure our lower jaws from dropping to the floor.
