"Heading"....what do you mean "heading?" It's already cold and pouring rain in the whole valley area. This kind of weather makes me want to move back to Boston. Well not really.

Hey VB, I just saw the news and I thought you cats wanted this info. If stated that the storm was on the west side of Nicaragua and is dropping 10 to 20 inches of rain. Did not know it was already raining

Luckily it wasn't raining too hard last night when my plane came in and we landed on time, things looking rough for those traveling the next few days though. LH may have to extend his trip, guess it's rained every day all day all week and it's been pouring here all morning. :x No walks to the MPs this week. Hope MG can get in today for happy hour to buy all our drinks.

Yep, looking at the local weather forcast, I may have to cancel my walking tour tomorrow. We are on the south side of the tropical storm that is hitting Nicaragua . Looks like we are in for a lot of heavy rain. Guys comming in during the next 48 hours or so are likely to find themselves in Panama.

Alma strengthens in eastern Pacific
James Wilson, Lead Meteorologist, The Weather Channel
12:39 p.m. ET 5/29/2008

Tropical Depression One-E formed late Wednesday evening and this morning has become Tropical Storm Alma the first named storm of the season in the eastern Pacific.

Some moderate strengthening will continue, while drifting north along the western coast of Nicaragua with a threat for torrential rain and flooding in central America. Alma is forecast make landfall along the northern coast by later this afternoon and then weaken over western Honduras.

Hurricane Warnings are now posted along the west coasts of Nicargua and Honduras with a Hurricane Watch for El Salvador. All residents and mariners along the coast need to pay close attention to Alma and take measures to protect property and life the next 24 to 36 hours.

Tropical storm warnings have been posted for the coasts of Costa Rica, Nicaragua and El Salvador, with tropical storm conditions also expected along the Pacific coast of Honduras.

A major threat with Alma will be torrential rains that may cause life-threatening flash floods and mud slides. Extreme caution is advised in the path of Alma the next 24 to 48 hours. Be prepared to move to higher ground and away from flooded areas during this tropical event.

Just a heads up....

Nope. They have a flight coming in from Panama on time as we speak. You can check the airport status here.

Planes made it through finally today and delivered Daddy Gusto and his entourage safely to SJO after a side trip to Panama. :D Apparently only after Florida told the young pilot to grow some balls and get the planeload of horny mongers on the ground in SJO or there would be trouble in the skies. :o Rain has finally stopped, just get on the plane DCmontgo you'll get here sooner or later.
PS
Spanky the DNA results are in and you are not MG's bastard Ch*ld, but he is still going to spank you like a redheaded stepchild.

Mucho Gusto and I arrived a la playa without any major incidents... Hou should arrive any minute...

It's a beautiful sunny afternoon in Flamingo Beach... The rays are nice and warm, the pool is perfect, cervesa is cold, fishing is scheduled for tomorrow and the Pacific is flat... Now, if only my chica didn't blow me off... Just to show my appreciation, her pix go up when I return home, in the XXX section, of course.... Say a prayer for me boys, I'm hunting again tonight...

8) 8) 8)
