To answer the initial question, I realize Costa Rica is in Central America, although Central America isnt really recognized by all as a seperate continent. I simply called it South America for its relation to the latin aspect of thing, I guess a better word would have been latin america, but none the less.

To answer the final question. I have honestly only done one fishbowl experience in Asia, and it was great. By no means the least mechanical one Ive had, but still great.

Where do you go where the girls are in MPs/Fishbowls?

My usual places in Asia were BKK, SIN, and HK/Macau. Throw in TOK and Phuket as secondary places.

In most all of those places, unless you already know the girl you're looking for (but again, that's not our discussion here), you either pick from a lineup, or get luck of the draw. Whether there's an actual piece of glass or not varies from place to place, but the model is generally the same.

For example, in someplace like Thonglor 2 in BKK you pick from a book of pictures, while in Annies, or the bigger places, you have an actual Fishbowl. In Eden or Akane it's a lineup against the wall.

You don't sit and talk with the girls at those places. You do at the GoGo bars, and there are a ton of them. But there are more MPs.

Your missing out on the real scene my friend, the freelance scene, followed by the barfined establishments are the way to go in Asia.

Of course, when a girl has no choice with who she goes with, its going to be a bit mechanical in most cases.

Give the girl an opportunity to pick and choose her clients or whether she goes with anyone, and I promise you, it will be top notch.

I know, I've been doing that for years. But that's not the majority scene in Asia.

I love the bargirls.

I've been doing Thailand for years. And I love the place. But again, I may have had an unusual experience in CR, but the girls in CR were just easier to connect with-hence less mechanical.

But with everything YMMV. I think we're bordering on picking nits at this point.

Having just spent the last 10 days in the Philippines I can say the scene there is far superior to CR in the area GFE experinces. I had GFE experiences with three excetional women to a level I have never found in Costa Rica. In Costa Rica you have to search for the GFE where in Philippines it is virtually automatic and with the really good ones it is so real it is scary. Having said that I still enjoy Costa Rica and have a good time there and it works great for shorter trips. I find CR more geared to short time where Philippines is much more of a long time oriented. I would also rate Thailand and Cambodia superior to CR but not quite as much so.rbc100

I took the venture to CR 2 years ago, i dont think i ever go back, i didnt like it at all after having been to Thailand and PI. Save your cash and head WEST.

I think that it is totally different. If you are into the long time thing then CR probably isn’t the place for you. It is also a much smaller seen. Mostly in San Jose. CR is great for a 3 or 4 day holiday but if you are going on a longer trip it might be worth a longer flight to asia. I found that the general cheaper prices in asia pay for the extra airfare. I do love CR and would like to go back someday. But for a few week holiday I will choose LOS every time.

The places and chicas err women are different. If I had to choose Thailand is now my number one, PI is now my number 2, Rio is number 3, and CR is number 4. For longer trips which is what I like and value. CR is cheaper airfare but the pu$$y costs much more. They r getting greedier and the chicas are becoming more gringa like (fat with nasty attitudes) so I limit my trips to CR and travel to Thailand and PI at least four+ times a year. The gals in Thailand and PI seem more flaca and more appreciative than CR chica gringas.

Some of my buds who went to CR before I did have noticed the changes in chicas over the years too and they've seen more than I did. they noticed what i notice and for the last year and lately we have been traveling tog. more to thailand and the PI than to CR.

better value imo. the prices are not jacked like in CR. plus we like the good food. good sex. nice times.

boredom with CR can be a factor too. after awhile it gets boring.. and it doesn't help when they keep jacking up the price$ but like anything it's supply and demand.. i'm sure business and profits in CR have plummeted plus some customers notice the changes. some for the worse.

with thailand and the PI its always something or someone new. more exxciting to me without having to pay jacked price$.. customer service is lots better there too. in rio too. customer service is poor in CR which is why we don't go back often but with Thailand and the PI we dont mind the longer plane ride. the excellent customer service and variety and lower prices too more than make up for it.

Someone mentioned language barriers but in my exp they all talk to my money so it's fine. i had opposite experiences in CR where the chicas seem more mechanical than in thailand and the PI. it annoys me when chicas in CR keep looking at their watches. i don't notice that in thailand and the PI. Of course -- YMMV and it's like a huge buffet out there. some people choose hamburgers or chicken while some choose steaks and lobsters. personal preference.
