I just found this website and it seems like I got my homework cut out for me in my preparation for getting to and surviving in CR. Lots of valuable information here and I thank you all for sharing.

I'll be in SJ May 18 - 26, maybe taking a side trip for a few days in the middle. If anybody is gonna be in town during that period and wouldn't mind meeting up and showing somebody the ropes, I'd be very grateful. I'm staying at the Castillo. There just seems to be so many options, I'm just not sure where to start. Between the ladies and poker, I plan to be very busy.

First drink will be on me.

After you check in, leave Castillo and turn left. Turn left again at the corner and enter the yellow building mid-block. That would be Sportsman's Lodge. I will undoubtedly be there...until about 10:00pm when I will make my way to the Del Rey unless one of the SL girls has grabbed me.

I will be staying at the sportsmans lodge from May 18-21. I will probably be hanging out at the bar but would like to go out to some of the smaller mps.I also like to play poker maybe we can go to a game.

There are a few quality nuggets to be had at the smaller MPs, but you better have a CRT map with you so you don't waste most of your time wandering around aimlessly. You may have to hit 2-3 smaller MPs before you find something that suits your taste. Your best MP bets for a sure thing, IMO, are Zona Blue and New Fantasy, both within a block or so of the Castillo. Bar Idem sometimes has a decent selection as well.

The bar at the SL isn't a bad place to hang out and chat with fellow mongers, but I definitely prefer the bar scene at the DR or ZB if I'm looking for something to bang. Of course, a lot of mongers will disagree with me on that one.

come hang out at the SL bar. It's a really friendly place and at times has a good selection of chicas -- not the numbers you find at Del Ray, of course, but some great gals. And there are almost always some CRTers hanging out there too.
I went there by myself for 10 days in January and I felt like I was among friends almost immediately. Met quite a few great guys as well.

I will be there and look forward to meeting the CRT crowd (and the ladies, of course). 3 days and counting.

I will be flying out there on the redeye tomorrow night, and will be staying at the SL. I suppose I'll hang out at the bar there; I'll have to buy you guys a drink. We should have some sort of signal, like a bird call or something. I'll have short hair, a goatee, and black lowtop converse all stars. Just ask if I'm a VIP. This is my first trip, and I'm very excited. I do feel kind of odd mongering with others, though. I've been solo in my whole experience so far, here in CA. Can't wait!

I plan to get most of my ladies at ZB and other cheaper MP's, with a couple more expensive pieces of ass at either at strip club or the DR.

No need of any special birdcall to meet any CRT members at the bar of the SL. I am arriving Wed. afternoon for trip number XIII. My first trip since last summer and I am as excited as I was on trip number one. I travel solo myself but usually meet up with a wingman for some nighttime field trips. I am sure to see you then, sounds like a good group there this week.

i think 85% of the guys staying at the Sportsman are in CRT
