Okay - I've finally recovered from my latest pummeling at the hands of the Rio garotas, and with some Taca miles burning a hole in my pocket, booked my first trip to CR in over six months for next week. Looking forward to catching up with old friends, meeting some new ones, and availing myself of all those sweet, virginal beauties I hear are filling up the Del Rey these days with siren songs of killer GFE sessions for $60 and cab fare...

Seriously, probably won't be in the gulch the whole time - always enjoy taking a side trip to Jaco, or maybe it would be cool to see some of the "real" Costa Rica I haven't yet seen. In any case, I'm sure we'll do some serious partying, and it should be a nice warm up for Medellin and Sosua coming up... :D

GR,

Welcome back, did Rio start getting a little expensive :?: :?: . I am going to get there, but hopefully when the $$ is in a little better shape against the Real...

I think we arrive close to each other, Are you on the non stop from LAX on Taca. Look for me if you want to wait 30 minutes... and I told Phx to have you contact me offline or via PM...

You got it - Rio is getting WAY expensive - it's still the best place on earth, but at $4k-5k per trip something's gotta give...

And Ron Medellin's experience notwithstanding, I didn't feel the energy there was all that great right now - I would much rather be there in high season when you can count on killer weather and gorgeous tan bundas at the beach every day.

Anyways, Goal #1 for trip #21 to CR - to not phuck anyone I've ever phucked previously. Though I might make an exception for former ZB'er Gabriella if I happen to see her sweet little tush hanging out in the DR some enchanted evening... :D

GR,

Wow, worlds are colliding here!! Me in Rio and you in CR. Whoda thunk it?

My guess? You'll have lowered expectations of CR and end up having one of your best times ever.
:D

Slumming Ehh?

We're importing sand as we speak to replicate Copacabana along Avenida Central. El Silencioso has his hard hat, toolbelt, and bullhorn ready for the construction.

Unfortunately there was an accident as three chicas scurried to get away, misunderstanding his gear for a little role-play fantasy session that went astray on his last trip and they didn't want any part of replaying it. We haven't been able to get them to explain fully, but it apparently involves a 9AMP Makita Reciprocating Saw modified in some way to include some sort of attachment on the end referred to as El Diablo. But every time we ask them about it their eyes get wide and they start getting scared and crossing themselves.

:?:

Speaking of the costs though: My little fare chaser widget is currently displaying airfares to Rio at $1180, and fares to Bangkok for $1200. Damn!

Yes - I can't wait to experience that special feeling of a condom blow job again...  Still hasn't happened in over 70 sessions in Rio.

Actually I tend to agree with your prognosis - especially since for some reason some of my best trips to CR have been in May. But I'm going to be extremely selective with my bullshit meter running at high sensitivity. Any hints of paying up front, upsell, underperformance, etc., will be met with a swift kick in the ass out the door. With my service expectations having been irrevocably altered by Rio, that sort of stuff simply won't fly anymore...

I see where Taca started flying to Rio and they have a hub in Lima. Do they charge extra miles to get that far? I remember Delta letting me fly to two locations on one FF mile trip but the destinations had to be connected. I essentially just stopped at one for a few days then continued on returning home from my final destination. SJO then Lima or a a few days in Rio would sure be fun.

GR,

I feel your pain. I'm so glad I went to Rio on my first trip when the Real was at 3.6 to 1. Doing 3 Termas a day or 3 session at one Termas a day was less expensive than what it is today. I remembered walking out of Termas 4X4 and the bill was R$800 after 3 sessions and 8 hours later. At 3.6 that was only around $220.00. If you do this today it would run you around $470.00. There is no way, no how, I can afford to spend that much in one Termas. YOU, apparently did quite a few times and I can't blame you since the Termas is loaded with hot and sexy Garotas.

Six years after my first trip to Rio now I only limit myself to one session at a Termas. Unless, ofcourse, I see something that I just have to have and I don't want to regret not having it just because it's a few dollars more. Now a day, the best value for my dollars is to have the Termas girls who I connect well with and have her come over and spend the night with me for a little over $100. Or pick up a Garota from HELPE, dance, drink, and have her spend the night until noon the next day for the same price. Going crazy in the Termas will be costly.

Also, I was debating hard these past few days whether to go to CR or to Rio for Memorial weekend. The price on American was $760 to CR or $1080 to Rio. Should I go back to Delrey where I have to negotiate hard for less money or more time and BBBJ or go to HELPE where negotiation for price and services is less of a hassle. GFE is almost always the case with BBBJ, multiple positons, more than 3 times is OK, and I never heard one said "why you not C*m yet?" I just love it when the garota takes it as a challenge to make me give her some "leite" and she doesn't give up until one of us pass out.

AND..should I go to Idem, ZB and NF where all the girls are sitting in their chair looking bored and disinterested and staring at you like you are the ugliest person to have walked in that day. OR should I go to the Termas where every time I walked in the Garotas are dancing, perk up and let you see what they have to offer, smiling and making eye contact and making me feel like I'm Robert Redford, Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt. For an extry $250 I'm going to Rio. :D 8)

With a bunch of frequent flyer miles in my account I'm sure that I will get a free flight to CR sometime this year. But not right now.

Actually, I only did one multi-session day in a termas this time - a 3-session day in 4x4 (imagine being inspired enough by the talent in ZB or New Fantasy to session three times in one visit  ). But my buddy Tom from Club Hombre was knocking off the multi-session visits like nothing - I think he actually did FOUR that day in 4x4, along with three in Centaurus, three in Luomo, etc. And the dude has SEVEN years on me!

Anyways, though everything you said in your post is true, I don't want to turn this into a "rag on Costa Rica" thread. Suffice to say, if my plane ticket wasn't nearly free and a direct flight each way (with a probable free first class upgrade), I wouldn't even think about going to CR given what it costs to fly there these days from LA.

But I take comfort in the fact that all I need do is apply my "game" and I'll achieve exactly the same results in CR as I did in Rio...

And that positive mental attitude and overall "happy to be here" approach is sure to win many new star performances. :P
