While I've been to CR 15 times, this next trip will be my 1st in Barrio Amon, 4/30-5/7. I've either stayed at DR, Prez or Morazon. Never been to a CR MP, but I'm looking to expand my horizons. I'm reserved at the Hotel Inca Real ... does anyone know a reason why I shouldn't be, how are the rooms, safety?

Rooms are ok. basic at most. small beds compared to others with only a ceiling fan but a nice place and girl friendly. safe with a gated door at the entrance. If Christian is working nights, he is really cool and laid back. They have a small bar on site but closes early. After hours you can buy some beer from the front desk at 1000 col. Ask for Maria(bartender), from what i hear, an ex-SL girl. Some rooms dont have mini fridges but wireless works awsome in every room. But the best part is that ur in walking distance from ZB(2 blocks), NF(2blocks), and SL.

Welcome to CRT, amigo! Friends who have stayed at the Inca Real seem to like it a lot. Depending on the price you'll be paying, it can be a terrific bargain.

Nice to have a veteran of 15 trips on board, and I look forward to reading your wisdom, information and observations. Again, bienvenido... and BTW, I really like your tag line. It is true...when one is in Costa Rica, the party never stops.

Would have never known that bit if it weren't for Rosa. Just hammers home the INCREDIBLE value of first-hand knowledge you can get from chicks you keep close to your vest, and then in turn open up and give you a bit of their trust as well.
