Anyone who's been in both rooms, could you tell me how they compare as far as amenities, quietness, bathrooms, etc? I stayed in Las Palmas last month and enjoyed it but it isn't available the dates of my next trip.

Any info would be appreciated.

I stayed in El Dorado for 4 nights. There is no view out the window but otherwise a very nice room. A king size bed, the nicest I have stayed in in Costa Rica. It is quiet except from 6-9 pm when there is a party going on in the bar. I would stay there again if the place wasn't full most of the time. Right across from the Penthouse.

How about the "El Rey"? I just booked 3 nights there for August.
