Some thoughts on the subject.

I've had that patchwork done on my chest several times before for the cardio stress test. The last time was not caressingly done by a guy named Armando, but I almost wish it had been. That time I had it done by a sadistic or at least uncaring fat black nurse who took one look at my hairy chest and said in a very unpromising way "Oh, oh!". She then proceeded to dry shave me quickly, efficiently and forcefully in a way that quickly removed all hair from those selected spots along with several layers of skin. You'd think most women would be no strangers to shaving since they typically have to somehow do their own legs but I think this particularly woman must have last shaved herself sometime back in the 80's. But I digress from how my experiences in this area might help you.

In 4-5 weeks, most of your hair should grow back to a length similar to what it probably was before. I've also had the procedure done with much less time than that before I had a planned trip or other P4P activity and was understandably just as self-conscious as you seem to be. The working women that I was with shortly after that noticed and commented on it and I sheepishly explained it was for a routine medical procedure and they then seemed to just shrug it off. I'll admit that I did do some of the things mentioned above to minimize its noticeability but with just a couple of weeks to work with there was still only so much I could do. Ultimately, however, none of these gals are really going with us for our good looks any way but rather the attractiveness of the pretty green paper we give them.

What I have done is to trim my remaining hair as short as possible (albeit not shaved completely smooth) so as to reduce the noticeability of the bare patches as much as I can at that time. And then, as the bare patches gradually grew back, I continued to clip the rest of the hair, which was growing back at the same time, until all the areas were at the same level.

If you look at pictures of male models, the standard of male beauty does seem to be the smooth hairless chest. OTOH, IMHO, there are still many many women, particularly chicas, who seem to appreciate the more manly hairy chest (albeit one without missing patches). It is really more often back hair where most women seem to draw the line. But what really seals the debate for me personally is that, regardless of whatever seems to be the more commonly preferred look, I simply have what I have. If I could lose all that hair or at least easily maintain that smooth "Adonis" look I probably would. But most of us can't.

Unfortunately, if you have a fair amount of hair to begin with maintaining a completely hairless chest without dealing with constant stubble seems to be a virtual impossibility. Instead, you might want to just keep it trimmed down to a level that still looks natural for you. The problem there is that whether you have shaving stubble or just recently trimmed hair, the chicas will probably still be able to tell that you're doing something unnatural. Shaving stubble and recently cut hair has a much rougher texture than hair that has been allowed to grow out. They may not be able to SEE the difference, but they'll certainly be able to FEEL the difference when you rub your naked chest against hers. A month after my last cardio stress shaving my patches had definitely grown out even to the rest of my trimmed chest hair to the point you couldn't see the difference, but at least one gal I was with still able to pick up on it and asked if I had cut my chest hair.

I've got half the smiley face now. I've got two circles between my nipples, a broad swath under the left nipple and a smaller one under the right nipple, with a circle on my upper chest.

Actually, I just looked at it again, and it kind of looks like a handlebar mustache with eyes. :shock:

Your cure? Daily trips to Relax y Vida in six weeks- and I promise I won't even laugh at your deformed, hairly (sort of) ass.....I will even be a bro and buy you your first session at the Troc (7 bucks)...I promise the girls there won't give a hoot...

:wink:

PS..I hear Ceviche puts hair on your chest :wink:

Circus;

I can not help but be touched that you would still have that picture of my wingman PacoLoco. I remember Paco telling me when he goes to the gay nude beaches he shaves his ass and pubes in the shape of a G-string. :shock:

Psychman, you're on! :D

Just came back from vegas and it is growing, slowly. Good thing the chicks in Vegas we're so expensive (and disappointing looking, given that I was staying at a top tier hotel) that I didn't session with anybody anyway, so the subject never came up.

Ruff, any thread with you in it is a ball shaving thread. :lol:

In my life I have found girls are split in their opinions on chest hair vs. none. I think if you are overly hairy, you can at least trim it. But if you're only moderately or lightly so, some girls love that.

But there are those girls who like it smooth and "boyish" looking, which doesn't work much if you're not a boy, in my opinion. I knew one Colombiana transplant here who was 27 when she married a 23 y.o. construction worker with no hair. I knew her years before when she was 20, and even then she would talk about how she liked young guys with no hair. Now she's pregnant and the guy can't find work.

I hope the smooth beef still makes her happy (lol).
