Not this weekend my friend, the cheapeset TACA fare is over $900 if you purchase right now. The cheapest fare to San Jose from the New York area is about $750 for travel this weekend. Also flying TACA does not work for those of us that keep our miles in other alliance programs, for example Continental and the Sky Team Alliance.

But that's good info for those that want to fly future weekends and either can use TACA mileage or do not care about frequent flier mileage.
