DELTA....$395 TOTAL R/T from WASH/DULLES to SJO. I hope the other airlines follow by dropping their fares.

The deals on Delta didnt last long. i purchased a rt from Atlanta to San Jose in April for 320 including all fees and tax. noticed it was over 5 this morning.

IN four out of five trips to CR I have gotten better RT rates from Detroit, connecting in ATL, then on to SJO, than you can get just RT from ATL.

Funny that you can add two hours of a connecting flight to a trip and get the fare cheaper than the direct RT flight. I have had fares as low as $276 RT out of Detroit with an average of about $340 RT.

For some reason (Spirit competition) there are some really good deals out of Detroit.
