Last night ok early this morning about 3 am i was watching the Fox news program called Red Eye. there was a panel of 2 guys and 2 gals the comedian a guy was saying The reason men go to Costa Ric and one of the big mouth girls cut in thank god and he didnt get to make his point. and if that wasnt good enough during the half time of the show on a recap the guy almost said some bs about CR .No foul no harm. just hate to see our beloved CR be mentioned while the media phuks Spitzer s to tears.

just a matter of time. its already on the radar and you would be surprised how many women know about it. not on a bangkok level but give it a couple of years.

So what..phuckem. I don't care what anyone thinks (esp. fat ass, attitude infested gringas) I feel soo bad that I'll never get to be president, governor, dog catcher etc..lol

Yes CR has to be kept as low key as possible. Even in Medellin, CO I'm starting to see those god-damn feminism shrink self-help books in the grocery store. For anyone who wants to know the real deal in CR, it isn't hard to find.

Two years ago I was looking for a place outside of the USA (I am pessimistic about this country long-term) to do business.

The first criterion was someplace not far away, the second was someplace warm. The third - CHICAS. I narrowed it down to either Belize of CR based on the first two criteria.

When searching for P4P options, I found almost nothing in Belize. A quick Google search lead me to Don Gordo's page, which then pointed to CRT.

Any gringa, any reporter, church deacon, etc. could do the same in five minutes.

The information is out there, and it is easy to find.

We are only fooling those who don't have the ambition to seek out the real story.

In various threads over the years the consensus opinion has been that the rapid growth of mongers in CR over the past 8 years or so has been fueled by the internet. Just look at the rapid growth of membership of this site. You can not explain that by word of mouth, articles in newspapers, magazines, guide books, etc. It is a result of internet search engines leading people to sites like CRT and ultimately to Costa Rica.

Anyone who thinks that most of their friends, co-workers, etc. are buying that they come to Costa Rica for eco-tourism, fishing, etc. are only fooling themselves. Costa Rica it's not a secret anymore

Yes. He is godfather of mongering in CR. I have undying respect for his pioneering. Just reading his website, I imagine what it must have been like to start walking around in CR without the benefit of any Spanish language skills, no internet, no information to go on, just to be lead by pure desire for chicas.

Very well said. The first step to establishing yourself as a true monger is to learn to disregard the gringas. I did it 5 years ago and have been happier since. I am always nice, but if they talk shit, I tell them to Phuck off, in the nicest way possible. I am not sure to this day though, why you married guys are mongering.If you are going to CR or anyplace regularly to monger, it is time to cut the gringa loose.Even if you end up with half your stuff you will be happy. And free to go to CR more often.

One good thing about C.R. and other mongering destinations being above the radar is that such knowledge puts gringas on notice.

Red Eye is probably one of the funniest shows on Television, bar none.

I couldn't stand it at first. I only had it on in the background, but one day I suddenly "Got it", and I'm hooked.

I think I like it, because it sounds like us, sitting around the bar.

El Cieg - Love the story. You do need to adjust your tude here, whether in Florida or the midwest. American girls are...well, American girls. I've had a modicum of success over the past few years after my divorce, and it was never by kissing up. As an example, a girl, 30, that I regularly saw at my gym was a heavy iPod/earphones type chick. I would say hello and she would smirk. Over the course of a couple of months I struck up a few conversations with her and she always seemed inconvenienced. I stopped trying totally, not for some ulterior motive, but simply because I've learned to move on in this biz. Shortly thereafter she initiated a conversation one day that she was short a $1.50 for the train and was embarrassed. That led to dinner and a month of torrid sex. But too many things bothered me - not the least of which, she smoked.

The point is, you never know about American girls. The shit they have running through their brains must be awesome. Grandiose fantasies of Mr. Bad Boy and their coy manipulations that tame him just enough to be civil and mostly responsible - all media-driven, and backed up by a healthy dose of narcissism and self-loathing for their nesting instincts. And the more beautiful they are, the more phucked up their sense is of anything that's not about them.

Gringo - I got my 40,000 American Advantage ticket last week for my three-month stay in Rio this summer. You're right. It's better to be where the action is if you can. But not everybody has the time from their jobs, or can afford to move. And some would rather maintain a U.S. address. But I think even a few strategically planned escapes per year can be a boost for most guys. And with Latin dating websites and Camming, guys can even ask some of their fav's to strip for them - to tide them over, so to speak. More and more girls down there have internet in their homes, although you may need to buy them the CAM.

The gringa factor is not easy - for young guys or old. But then again creativity is often born of necessity. Perhaps we should all be thanking gringas for the creativity they have spawned in us - from how to be missing from work, to how to pay for trips, to how to relocate.

It's not the guys on CRT I feel sorry for, even with infrequent trips. It's the ones who know nothing - but the line of horseshit girls here spew - that I feel sorry for.
