I'm planning my next trip for Memorial Day Weekend which will start with 2 days at the SL on May 22nd and 23rd, then a trip to the coast for some fishing, with a wrap-up in SJ for the rest of the week at the Presidente.

My plans are not set in stone except for the first 4 days. Memorial Day through to the weekend right now is planed for indoor activities. I am willing to be flexible and may even have a newbee with me. I would very much like to meet more of you as well as to introduce other members to my soon to be star gazer who has not seen the BM.

Let the list begin.

Yes, Memorial Day is not that far off and I will be there May 21st through May 26th, staying at the SL. Its been last July since my last trip, due to business reasons. I am already counting the days.

...And for you Texas Hold 'Em fans, here's something to think about for Memorial Day Weekend:

PokerStars Announces Launch of Latin American Poker Tour
Inside Costa Rica

PokerStars, the world's largest online poker site, today announced the launch of Latin America's first major poker tour, the LAPT. With stops in Brazil, Costa Rica and Uruguay, the tour is set to bring world-class poker action to some of the most beautiful destinations in the world.

The Latin American Poker Tour kicks off in the beautiful beach city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from May 3-5, 2008. This three-day, $2,500 tournament will be the largest poker tournament ever held in Brazil, with players competing for a total prize pool of over $600,000. Among the players will be Team PokerStars Pros and international poker stars Andre Akkari from Brazil and Humberto Brenes from Costa Rica.

The tour continues with the LAPT San José in Costa Rica from May 22-24, and then moves on to Uruguay for the LAPT Punta del Este from August 7-9.

LAPT President Glenn Cademartori said, "Poker is exploding in Latin America and the game is more than ready for its own major poker tour. It's one of the fastest-growing poker regions and there are thousands upon thousands of players in countries like Brazil and Argentina who will love the chance to take part in events of this kind. In every regard, the LAPT is going to put Latin America on the map as the newest hotspot to play high-stakes international poker."

LT....unfortunately our paths apparently won't cross at the SL...you'll be at the shore fishing 5/24-2/26 when I storm the gulch for 51 hours of fun (longest trip yet)...wingman tbd...but either JDT or CBass (both getting married overt the summer and have been to SJO with me once)...or both....Clam looking at his allegedly busy schedule.....

I'm in town May 22-27, my last trip to CR for a while.

That poker tourney could be a possibility.
