I just got off the phone with SL , we had 3 rooms from the 4th to the 11th of April. I sent a email to say we would only need the 3 rooms the 4th , 8th, 9th and the 10th leaving on the 11th. They emailed me back to say no problem we will change the dates on the 2 rooms...... 2 rooms No you mean 3 rooms. They said that they could set us up on the 3 rooms wait wait here. read!!

Unfortunately for April 4th we are sold out, so you only have two Jr Suites for this date but I gonna write your name in waiting list in case of any cancellation, for April 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th I can add one Jr Suite but one of you has to change room on April 10th to another Jr, please let me know is this is OK.

We have Sportsmen's Lodge drivers so I can make an agreement for your stay here, please let me know if you want to do it.

Is this normal!!!

It's a good think we changed the date or we would have walk in with only 2 rooms, Would of had to take turns.

3rd World, busy as Sh-t, e-mail, phone calls from gringos changing dates,etc., etc.,(such as myself), consider the obvious, stay somewhere else, ( after all where else is there??) The SL is becoming an institution, pick up the phone and call, sorry bad day @ work.

Though I really like SL, its reservation system has drawbacks. I've had the email in hand confirming a reservation for a certain room, only to learn that I was moved to a lesser quality room. I realize that your situation is more serious.

What I do is confirm, confirm, confirm, then cross my fingers. Most of the time, things work out fine. But the answer is, yes, SL messes up reservations on occasion.

They've always bent over backwards there to do right by me, and I certainly do appreciate that. However, with all the business they're doing these days, they may want to come up with a more efficient and secure reservation system than the one they currently use - maintained in a written "journal" of sorts rather than via computer.

not to much to ask for especially when it impacts your bottom line , reputation and some poor bastard trying to enjoy their much needed vacation

after all, The SL seems to be doing quite well and it's no secrete sombody else would be glad to take away your good fortune and open a competing facility

i am on that same waiting list for that same day....since your name is penciled in that rev. book my guess is anything can happen ...what would happen if someone walked by and took that book...? is there not some type of back up plan ....i am staying there 4 nites and i move 3 times ...oh joy !!!!

There are 4 or 5 rooms classified as Junior Suites.

That seems out of bounds to me. I am sure he will respond to the actual issue. He has been out of the country for a few days and I think he will be back today.

How do you think this a PERSONAL ATTACK. I don't even know who Bill is? I'm dealing with Manfred. I am just stating what had happen to me about the 3 rooms that I hope to have when I get there. As far as Manfred said I'm set. I'll be calling the week before to make sure. No emailing I'll Call

The other post where stating that they are raking in the money so why don't they step up to a better reservation system. I may have blinders on but I don't see a personal attack.

I have no issue with your post mudpuppy, it was the Livingcr post that I thought was out of bounds. If someone decides to buy a condo or car I really do not think it is any of our business.
