This happened to me yesterday and is pretty funny...

I'm also a member of another forum, one for for people who are in the process of getting a US visa for their foreign fiances and spouses. They help each other get the right documents, etc etc.

Anyway, yesterday morning a foreign woman who is waiting for a visa through her American fiance wanted to vent and posted how she was tired of people judging her. His "two-faced" family and friends tell him that she's using him to come to the US, etc.

Anyways, I had to add my opinion, as usual. I responded in support of this woman because all of us who have a foreign fiancee have family and friends telling us to "be careful, she just wants to come to the US", "she doesn't really love you", etc. Some tell us this because of true concern, others have other motives.

But the words I chose probably weren't ideal for that audience. I kind of forgot that there are also gringas on the board (they are applying for their foreign boyfriends). And I said some things about gringas. I said pretty much what most on this board say about them (controlling, disrespectful, etc etc). But I bit my tongue and didn't mention anything about the physical appearance of gringas, in relation to foreign women (latinas). I really really wanted to, but didn't want to offend anybody.

Suffice to say, my comments were not received well. I got a few responses from angry (probably fat) gringas. Here's one or two typical gringas:

So maybe I'm missing something here. It's not okay for you to have a foreign bride because you find American women distasteful but it's okay for them to a foreign dude because they find American men distasteful.

I find that somehow ironic.

I spent some time talking with a guy who runs a dating website. He had some interesting observations from his years of setting up couples.

The one thing he said that really stuck in my mind was: "In all my years, I have never had a single success story between a gringa and a latin guy. Latinas and gringos though, seem to match up quite well."

Here is a telling stat: apparently the divorce rate when a gringa marries a foreign man is 70 percent. When an American man marries a foreign woman it is only 20 pecent ( far lower than the US. divorce rate.)

Now, I'm just going back and forth with bitchy gringas about how much they suck. The men on that forum are too beaten-down and afraid of gringas to say a word. Pussies!

I haven't even mentioned anything about weight. I'm saving that for when I run out of other arguments, which will probably never happen.

I have been on a latinamerican date site and have meet or spoken with many . I can say ALL the Gringas tell me that the girls are all out looking for lonely older men so they can come here and get papers and my money .
I tell them thats ok all Im looking for is sex !!Its an even deal !! its shuts them up .

Kind of. The bitchiest gringa lives about 10-15 minutes from me. I think I will ask her out for coffee to further discuss this in person. Hee hee. That ought to get a noteworthy response.

Too funny. I have been helping people fill out visa paperwork and get the applications for about 6 years on a volunteer basis. I brought my now ex to the states from Indonesia. There is a phenominal amount of bs they put you through. But for every bs tactic there is a trick to it. I have asked for another processer when a gringa at the embassy in Jakarta came up to help process the application. I ended up getting a gringo at the embassy who got the application through and approved in 7 days. I cannot and will not speak to or deal with gringa embassy employees anywhere. They are the worst of the worst and just there to cause trouble.
Especially on a marriage visa application. Definately time to bring up the fat issue, Orange.
