Is this game offered in SJ casino's? I read through the Horseshoe pages and didn;t see anything mentioning this. Thanks for your help.

I've encountered a craps table at the Colonial Casino, next door to the Hotel del Rey.

I think also that the Fiesta Casino at the Radisson offers craps.

I'm not a dice roller, so I don't know anything about offered odds, etc. But yeah... you can find a craps game in San Jose.

The Colonial game deals in both dollars and colones. The last time I played the minimum was 500 colones, and 5 dollars.

Odds were x2 on 4,5,9,and 10, and I think x3 on the 6,8.

I've paid for many sessions with winnings at the Colonial craps table.

The last I heard the Horseshoe was a 5 dollar game, not sure about the odds.

The horseshoe has one and it was VERY active last week

The Clarion has added one but I believe they are training staff because I have not seen it in use yet.

The Clarion had one when I was there in April '07. I went there 3 straight days and it was never open. I finally asked the pitboss if it was open and he said it was but they just needed someone to play. I happily stepped in and had a nice little run. The craps dealers were very helpful.

The minimal bet in colones at the Colonial Casino was 500. The minimum in dollars was $5.00. The Clarion Casino was the exact same as of April '07.
