My turn. I'm the dude that married this creature. At Zona she was called "Kathy", but her real name is
Ingrid del Carmen Gutierrez Tenorio.
I'll give a little background info on myself, since I have not posted. I've been going to Brazil and CR since 2001. Approx 25 times altogether. So I've been exposed to the mongering game for some time. But, I did let my guard down on this one. I met Ingrid at Zona Blue in March 2007. Spent two weeks together and had a great time. Even went to Jaco for a few days. Had not seen that much passion in a woman since Rio! Her personality was awsome and she always had you laughing. Made a return trip in May and stayed in Manual Antonio (Costa Verde). Came back in June and decided to look for a piece of land in Coronado. We actually chose the spot together and she made the comment that she would like for this to be our future home. At some point the word marriage came up. The plan was for her to continue to reside in CR and to earn a degree in Architecture. I would kick her $500 a month and she could visit me when she was not attending school. It sounded good, cause I wasn't bring no 20 yr old hottie to the states. I had a month off during October and decided to marry at that time. It was held at the Best Western Irazu. There were approx 40 people there. 7 flew in from the states (mother & brother) plus 5 fellow CRT brothers. Maria Fernanda was the bridesmaid. She is Ingrid's sidekick when they go trolling at the Del. KCcostarica showed up along with smoking hot Andrea (Zona) for the reception. I had a remarkable session with Andrea approx 1 year earlier. I walked over to where they were sitting and Andrea shook my hand and stated,"Nice to meet you." At the same time giving me the I remember you
I did get a kick out of that! Anyway, on with the story. A couple of days later we go to the Embassy to see about getting a Visa. I've already done some research and found out that we needed to apply for an Immigrant Visa. But, she wanted to apply for a Tourist Visa instead. I knew she wouldn't get it, but that is the route she wanted to go. Afterwards, took at 3 day trip to Paradisus Playa Conchal Resort. Not cheap $400 a night, but very nice. Returned home and was thinking life was good. Man, was I in for a surprise! On Dec 3rd, she calls crying, because she was turned down for the Visa. I told her not to worry. We'll just go to plan B and get the Immigrant Visa. I make a return trip in Dec and we head to Nicaragua to visit her aunt and grandmother. During this trip I got sick as a dog and was throwing up all night. Would not be surprised if she tried to poison me. Oh yea, she loves me!!! I felt like the whole time down something just wasn't right. I told her that I wanted to come and see her for her birthday and she stated she was going to be in school and had a lot of exams at that time. I knew then that something was up. I then hired a PI to do a background check and ya'll know the rest of the story.

And thanks for the concern from my fellow brothers. I'm going to be just fine. Even though I married her, I still kept my distance. I went through that awsome passion with a Brazillian before and was not going to let that happen again. It just doesn't work with a long distance relationship. It will drive you nuts. I always told her that when she finished school, she could move on and I would be okay. But she always insisted that she loved me and would stay. Even talked about having a K*D in a few years.
Just pissed I let a puta get over on me. Lesson learned. And in the words of the great Mucho Gusto "
