The best driver is Sergio, 506 359 8819 or 506233 0913. He speaks english and is very dependable. He is the best driver I have ever had in SJ. He also makes trips around the country and is entertaining and knowlegeable. He enjoys the girls we bring along and will not ever sell you out.

I have been to Costa Rica numerous times (15+) and I finally met a driver I would highly recommend. If you need dependable transportation to/from the airport or any other transportation needs while in Costa Rica I highly recommend Marlon Schumann. He speaks fluent English and he is a great resource for just about anything you need to do down there. Most importantly he is dependable and will not rip you off.

I went down with a group of friends and he was at the airport with a special sign and cold beers were waiting in the car for our trip downtown.

He is currently trying to establish his tourism business and if you are thinking of buying property down there (Like I am) he can help you out with that as well. Fluent English really helps.

I'm heading down to Costa Rica in two weeks. Me and 6 friends! This is our 4th time going back and I'm a new member to your site. I LOVE IT! I can't find anything really recent on here, so I sent a bunch of emails out to old post recommendations. But I need to make sure I have a van that can take 7 people from the airport in San Jose to Jaco. And then back to San Jose. I would really appreciate some recommendations. Another question for you. We will be staying in Jaco for only 2 days, and then coming back to San Jose for 3 more days. Does anyone know of a girl that would be interested in traveling to Jaco and being our "house" girl for 2 days? It was just a thought to have a girl for the van ride out, as well as around the house while we are there.
