Put me on the list! I'll try to remember. Be arriving Feb. 11 and departing Feb. 21.

Curious: Is that "too long"? I'm not one to make the day trips given my frugal proclivities and I'm beginning to wonder what the hey I'll be doing all day.....

I may take the regular (as in Public) transportation to San Ramon for a Junior Adventure and then possible make my way over to Villa Blanca (http://villablanca-costarica.com/).....

but still.....10 days.....then again the weather sure beats where I currently am.....

i will be there the same days coming in from LA. have met the boudman and look forward to meeting the rest of you. sb back from tambor in time for HH.
as far as too long idk, but it is a long time if your just hanging out phucking and drinking. your liver and your dick tend to take a beating. might want to get out and look around a little. nice country.

If someone has some pull for this happy hour....any decent single malt Scotch sure would be appreciated......2 for 1 is my kind of deal and the kind The Gardens provides (attached to Hotel Castillo) M-F. Their well brand is Dewars....so that ain't so bad.....but it isn't single. Thanks!

Unfortunately, you will not find great single malts in CR bars, If you do they are going to very high priced and definitely not on a 2 for 1 special.... :lol:


It is a ritual for me to pick up a bottle of 18 yr old Macallan at Duty Free on the way in for the room or to pack for the return home. $104 at the airport, you wont't find it less than $150 in the states. Tey also carry the 12 yr which is pretty good. Other TOP shelf single malts are available in Duty Free, but thats my poison of choice... :wink: :wink:

Please add me to the list for the happy hour on the 16th @ SL. After 12 years of mongering San Jose solo, it’s about time I met the comrades. For the first time, I have something else to look forward to besides hoping to meet that special someone in Del Rey/Blue Marlin... :twisted:
PS: I just don’t seem to be able to get a room at Prez and I have tried all mantras, voodoos, pleading, corporate business promises. Nothing Worked. So Morazan, here I come , albeit reluctantly.
