Will my milegage increase if I take off this white beard of 25+ years? It is very closley cropped and not a problem....at least for me.

I have heard that the women in the Phillipines do NOT like men with beards.

What about the Del Rey crew, et. all. Is it an issue? Thanks!

I suppose that if it is too closely cropped it might chafe their thighs!

:D :o

Yes, If planning on dining, I have had some not like the goatee, it's all relative to inner thigh chafing.

I see a lot of guys here with a beard and have not heard of any chicas complaining, thou I agree in that they may not want you to DATY. BUT IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, and if they can put up with some of us 60-80 year old, fat, ugly, guys and even act like they really like us to get our money, a little thing like a beard is not going to slow them down

I have a mustache and have never had one complain even when DATY  8)

Closely cropped mustache and goatee, have yet to have a complaint or irritation...IMO, all about how you treat the ladies

I think I am just fine. Use the #2 groomer for heads. It's not like it was just shaved or whatnot. My "santa clause" beard is not so short that it irritates the thigh meat....at least not to North American "women". It's just not a "hippie beard". No goatee....just mustache and beard.

Thanks for the input.....and please remember I'm into any and all assistance with this impending trip......Feb. 11----Feb. 21 staying at Castillo. I think I may go "all out" for me dinero wise. The USA has bankruptcy laws...ahhahahahaha.....but I'm going to be there; I WANT at least one "toda la noche"....and I want the illusion of girls being "....into it...". I know one must pay to play.

Steve:

I'll be at the Castillo 2/15-2/26 on my rookie trip. Seeing how you will have 4 days under your belt by the time I get there I'll be expecting a full run-down. :D

My expectations are pretty similar to yours. Finding a special friend or two would be quite nice. You can't make those kinds of encounters happen but you can prepare for them. I plan to be prepared.

I've heard firsthand that many ticas prefer beards, as a lot of ticos can't grow them, and it adds to the older-distinguished-gentleman factor they seem so strangely attracted to.

Thanks! This is the type of response I was searching for....a simple yes or no.

The women from most Asian lands do NOT like men with beards.

The concept of "whisker burn" is kinda a no brainer.
