I have been talking back and forth with santasbro for awhile now about getting involved with helping out the Ch**drens project he is involved in.
I have helped put on a few fiestas in Tijuana to raise money for an orphanage there. So if we were to host a similar event in CR in say April or May, who would be interested in attending? A few businesses in CR have already expressed interest in sponsoring the event. What I am thinking is just a fun event with a raffle, special "entertainment" and a really good time. A chance to meet fellow mongers and do some good for Costa Rica.

So who is interested?

I doubt that I would be able to make my way to CR in April or May of this year, fiesta or not.

Regardless of the staging of any fiestas, Iwould still like to be able to make contributions to the foundation year round.

I'm planning on another long trip in August, as far as April goes I doubt it. May be a possibility of a week long trip depending on how work stacks up and if the dates coincide. Keep us informed.

A way to donate on-line is in the process right now. Hopefully soon anyone, at anytime, will be able to donate through an on-line account.

thanks for expressing an interest.

My trips to SJ have generally been spur of the moment so I can't say I'd be able to plan for an event - plus when I come ot SJ it is to Phuck Latinas - not to party with Americans. I may be in the minority here. I do recognize that I'd be more likely to give to the cause if there was an easy way to do that on-line. I don't want to commit to a physical presence in SJ as a precondition to giving.

IMHO, the fund raiser, if it happens, should be during a week where CRT members are already in town anyway. Like before, or after the Anniversary Party, etc.

I do agree, although at my advanced age (60), and practicing moderation of no more than three women a day, it leaves time for both.

I'm not a TLN kind of guy. I rent them for the hour, and after the hour is up, move along little doggie.....NEXT!!!! That gives me three hours of sexo, usually 3 hours of sleeping, which leaves 18 hours for eating, drinking, hanging with the boys, and pursuing my next rental. Had I not taken the time to hang with S4DR, BangBang57, and others, I would have never found out about the Tico MP's on Calle 6, or Paseo Colon, or my home-away-from-home at my favorite Tico Strip club.

It's all good in CR!!! We are all rock stars, if only for an hour at a time. :D :D

WHO is going to sponser a bunch of whore mongers getting together to raise money for a charity especially with "special entertainment" involved. A whore mongering hotel or club? The next question is what are you going to tell the charity as far as where the money comes from?

Hey Santa's Bro.

For my money, I'd prefer to come to CR and phuck pretty girls and not think a lot about orphans but give generously to them either before or after the trip.

I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass here but just suggesting that if I have 3 days in CR and I want to cram all of my extra phucking into those three days, to get distracted or diverted by a good cause that makes me feel good and bad at the same time might make it difficult to enjoy the variety of pu*sy available without feeling guilty. I'd rather kick in $100 to the Santa's Bro foundation at the time I buy my airfare and not think about the little ones until I'm back home and then I can relive the memories of the sweet Latinas I phucked and at the same time feel good about the K*ds who will be helped due to my efforts.

I guess what I am saying is that I seriously appreciate what Santa's Bro has started here, I want to support it, but it will be hard to mix this effort with my primary reason for coming to CR - so an on-line way to donate would be best for me and, I suspect, other members who feel as I do.

I don't mean this as any complaint or anything even close. I think the spirit Santa's Bro started is of huge importance and of huge priority. I am merely offering a different persective that might end up including some more people who have my same mindset.

I think to go to a party complete with Ticas, knowing that it was their ninos who would benefit....this would be hard for me....I would end up associating these brozne sex symbols with little K*ds and that would take away a lot of the raw sexuality I seek in CR.

I'm sure many CRT members are capable of experiencing this and still separating mongering from giving and to the I say "You are a better man than I am."

My point is that if I have to go to SL and depsoit cash in a box or hand it to someone to reserve for an account, this would not be as attractive to me as being able to sign on to paypal.com and just shooting over a few bucks to an account, feel good about it, and monger on.

just my two cents. And thanks again to Santa's Bro. He is a good soul.

And SB - 3 Chias per day! You are my hero. I just turned 35 and I have trouble keeping that pace! Although my spare time in CR is reserved for business efforts rather than social.....or is it that I spend my time on business and my spare time is with chicas???? Either way, I want to give to this effort but don't want to attend a party to do so.

I think Thanksgiving is a good time for us to have some type of party or gathering and take up a collection. Maybe even buy squares for the Thanksgiving day NFL games with the winners recieving a decent cash prize , but the majority going to orphanage supplies. There are always alot of CRT guys around during that week and it would give us a few weeks to decide upon & make the purchases in time to deliver them over the Xmas/New year hollidays.
If something is set up for April , let me know. I will be in town the week after Easter.

Just a suggestion, But a great way to donate would be with the paypal monthly donation service where you can select an amount and it will automatically take that much out every month. I subscribe to several free podcasts in which I donate to in such a way. when alot of people are donating a couple of bucks a months it really adds up. Definitely worth looking into.

These are the easy parts, berk.It is an opportunity for mp's, restaurants, etc. to build goodwill. They know our value, many advertise or offer discounts to us already. In TJ we started this with no established commodity.Nobody knew who we were, but one guy (not me) started knocking on doors from scratch and built a list of donors and created an event that raises 7k twice a year for an orphanage run by a group of Catholic nuns. A substantial part of the budget. And they never questioned where the money came from. A group of well meaning Americans who enjoy Tijuana.

I believe it would be easier and most likely more successful to do this in CR than it is in TJ now. CR board members are a bit more ambitious, we have the means to spend money on plane tickets, hotel, etc. as CR is not just a "night out" destination like TJ. I really am just trying to gage the level of interest at this point. I am open to any ideas that anyone has.

I do guarantee though, that anyone who goes to an event like this will be talking about it for days to come.

MrLasVegas:

Thanks for your input. A well timed event would be great fun. A couple of ideas have surfaced I would have never thought of. There must be many more, any ideas gents?

As far as the orphanage, they knew the school supplies came from CRT. They were grateful to have them, the source was not an issue. I'm sure that the Ch*ldren use them daily, and do not refuse to use them because of the source. That is the main goal to me, that the Ch*ldren's needs are being met, not what others think about me or CRT.

Much has been said about money coming from mongers. I guess that I don't see that as much of an issue as others. What I do when I come to CR is legal. It is not like this is drug money, although I believe that they would even take that. When people are down, and need help, when it is given they choose not to look down at the source. These K*ds are at the bottom, everything in life looks like it's up to them. We have the opportunity to elevate their minds.

I for one am a proud member of CRT. The men that I have met through CRT are nicer, and more genuine, than men I meet in my daily life. I can call most that I have met my friends. I have no problem telling anyone that I am a paying member of CRT. I have never joined another on-line organization, even free ones. Thanks to all of you who have made my life brighter.

I'll get off my soap box now.....

Health & happiness to all

Steve - Santas Bro

I will support any program, party or event that you put together.

lets see 10,000 crt members at $5.00 each could do some serious reconditioning on the facility, purchase furniture, and clothing...

just give us the goal and we will achieve it...

you are a great person and wingman

Judging by the responses, there seems to be some good enthusiasm going on. To clear up possible misconceptions or questions any mongers might have, I will try to explain the vision I have for this event. Of course all is subject to change and any new or better ideas are always welcomed.
This would be an event where there would be around 40+ ticas, nicas, dominicanas, Colombianas, etc. in attendance. We would be having erotic dance contests between dancers from some of the strip clubs. Maybe a few lesbian or other wild shows from representatives of the various mp's.
So all evening lots of hot women in various states of undress. Maybe a fun co host /mc like one of your own favorite Del Rey bartenders, or my good amiga,Daisy from ZB. Of course body painting, lots of cold beer. Raffles for free sessions in various mp's. And maybe we can get a popular Sportsmans tica or two to donate an hour of her time. I have seen the effect that the girls dancing on the bar at Sportsmans has on crowd, now imagine that and quite a bit more for several hours of fun.

Some people may have had the perception of a quiet, sausage fest type thing. So thought I would clear this up. There seems to be enough support that preplanning can begin. I will start knocking on doors during my Feb. trip.

I do not think that I could plan a trip to coincide with the fiesta, but if an on-line donation system is set up, I'll kick in a few bucks too.
