The only back entrance so to speak is an elevator to the garage. There is parking for guest and there is lengthy walk around the entrance way and past the guard to get to the street.. Use the main entrance and if yoiu park in the garage use the elevator up 1 flight to the entrance or directly to your floor if staying there.

Hope this helps

yeah it does thanks, do you still have to register your guest, or can you go straight to the floor using this method? For those days i may want to have more than 1 chica or a little more privacy. Also do they keep a running regiter of all you have up, or are they pretty discreet about it. Thanks

i always just walked in with chica in tow :?: :?: :?: I really didn't know I had to register them :?: :?: :?: funny thing, sitting down at breakfast with a chica, and a gringa we partied with at a Cuban place the night before, the gringa kept going on about all the prostitution etc., etc., I was biting my tongue and my chica friend only turned 1 shade of red...we had a good laugh about it later....the horrors of it all :!: :!: :!: :!:

If you have booked through the casino it has always been a 1 chica policy and No Chica Fee, If you booked through the hotel (I never have) I believe there is a chica fee.

I have never have had a problem such as logging chicas in or out, i do know some who have left the chica ID at the front desk, I am quite sure they log those for security reasons..

I have never tried for more one at a time at the Amon when I have stayed there.

My ex novia had a car and we would come though the garage with little if any questions. It is probably a case of YMMV (your mileage may vary). You could certainly try the garage to your floor of the hotel if you have a vehicle, would NOT recommend walking into the hotel via the garage with 2 or more chicas....

Also, It is not a mongering hotel, it is a lot more tourists than our kind...  They tolerate us, but would like us to be discreet...

That chica at breakfast,YIKES !!!. Never has been an issue for me, I have told my ex and a couple others there to BE DISCREET !!!

I am staying at the Clarion now. It is my fourth stay here and this is my observation. I am always on the second floor. If you walk in the main door and turn left to the stays instead of right you do not get asked to register.

I think they may put we mongers on floor 2 getting us to use the steps instead of the elevator so we do not "run into" the regular guests.

Could be a coincidence but it also makes great sense.

They have a new policy now very recent, where you pay the front desk the Casino rate and instead of paying nixon cash 60-70 now you pay 70 plus tax so 85 dollars.
Also now you do have a chica fee when booking through the Casino thats brand new.
In addition you no longer get eggs with your breakfast its a real meager breakfast now. They even charge if you want rice and beans for breakfast!
The waiter said the changes are new management so be advised that they are squeezing the turnip a bit.
However the sheets and pillows under the new managment style are way better huge improvement and at 70 dollars a night its a good deal for the high quality of the hotel. But beware they will hit you with a chica fee now. So if you do volume it could get expensive.

Is anyone aware how much the chica fee is at Clarion? Does this apply if the chica does not stay todo la noche?

Thanks in advance. Geez first the Presidente now the Clarion. Its getting tougher for mongers to find hospitable accomondations in CR.

I believe it is $20. But I will report on my bill Saturday as I am leaving Friday. I do not expect a chica fee and will raise a stink if i get one. I have an email from Nixon stating no chica fee.

Not quite sure what you mean here. $70 plus normal 16.39 tax is a total of $81.47..

What is the current chica fee ????

Kind of sucks they took the eggs to order breakfast away, that was one of the nicest things about staying there IMHO.

The post about breakfast is 100% TRUE! I was dissappointed. It is now a continental breakfast with cereal, fruit and bread.

I just spoke with Nixon and booked two trips. I inquired about any recent chica fees and he said there are no chica fees when booked through him, as usual. You do check in at the front desk now though...but it is still the casino reservation that Nixon booked
