Yesterday, I was able to book my airline ticket on AA over Memorial day for $388 + tax = $462 roundtrip from Seattle with the one stop in Dallas.

Hurry before the deals are gone.

It's not just AA in Dallas..........us Houston customers don't get many breaks on Continental either.

A couple of my buddies will fly Southwest to Austin, then fly Continental Austin to Houston to Rio.......then come back Continental Rio to Houston to Austin........then fly Southwest Austin to Houston and save several hundred dollars.

Continental just posted a price drop to $358 PDX - SJO for Jan - Feb. Lowest I have ever seen from here. HolaB, just catch a Greyhound to PDX and fly with me. No need to bring your luggage, we can pick it up when we stop in HOU! 8)

Wow, sucks to be you guys......

I'm sure glad ORD (Chicago) has a lot of competition. Paid between $249.42 and $329.42 my last 6 trips in 2007.

Thank the airline gods for mass competition.

HolaB may want to grab a cheap Southwest flight to Chicago, may save a few bucks ($700, less the cost to Chicago) www.taca.com is currently at $349.02 for Memorial Day weekend.

We are fortunate here in South Florida. AA is $199 (plus taxes) out of MIA/FLL; Spirit, Taca here too.
Of course, if you want to fly Delta to ATL it will be $350.

I'm looking at about $385 from Boston in March. I think the last time I was there in '04 in March I paid about $340.

I just redeemed some miles for the direct flight from DFW to SJO....

Only cost me 30k miles for travel date 2-8 but returning 2-10.

Just going down for a quick panty raid.

HolaB

I've never seen it more than $650 DFW to SJ direct. And I just booked. I decided to use miles instead (only 30K), but the flights were $350 if you want to stop, and $650 if you want direct.

JunFan I'm going right after you DFW - SJ. 2/10-21.
