hell for $33 I do not think I can find a better value for $...


I truly love this place...

But I do prefer having my own bathroom.

Looks like a nice place to stay and cheap but I'd be concerned about sharing a bath.

Thanks for your report. I decided to make a short January trip, after getting shout out at the SL and ZB I started scrambling to find something I was going to call Nixon but after reading your report I decided to give the freebird a shot. They have a great location and the suites look good on paper. I booked suite 2 for January 24, 25, and 26. I will add my two cents when I return.

I think that you will not regret it...

I am curious to hear what you think.

I stayed for 6 nights early in Dec., The suite is very nice, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, the coded locks are great, I like the privicy and not having to deal with the front desk, it also keeps anyone from leaving without you knowing. (the gate is coded from both sides..)
Nieborhood is OK, about 6 blocks from Idem
The wireless internet worked perfectly my whole stay.
And Dennis is an all around great guy to have around!!
Only drawback is if the guy in the next room is a "loudtalker" you will know it.. not a problem for me!!
I give it a 9 out of 10..

Re: Shared bathroom. I don't think it would be a huge hassle *unless* one was in one of the 3rd floor queen rooms. Imagine having to stagger down/up two flights of stairs just to take a piss... I suppose the management would frown upon aiming out the window?
