There is a new hotel in Medellin called la Casa. The web site is http://www.lacasamedellin.com

I have heard a rumor that they are setting up a charter direct from San Jose to Medellin as a package tour. Does anyone know is this is true?

How do we know the place is even monger friendly? Is it the Zona Rosa reference?

Seeing how CRJoey joined today, as a non paying member, and his only post has promoted La Casa Medellin, I think we can safely assume he is connected to the hotel.

Posting on this board would lead one to believe the place is "chica friendly" but certainly anyone who plans to stay there should ask that question before committing to stay there.

This is not a monger hotel,, per se. It is definitely not a whorehouse. They do not provide chicas for any reason.

What you heard were rumors, nothing more.

Though this is a great little hotel, it is not to be confused with The Medellin Mansion.

It's okay if you have your novia spend the night, as long as you are respectful of the other guests and the hotel as well.

All frat parties are to be taken somewhere else. This is a gentlemen's hotel. And CRT is a "gentlemen's board."

So what hotels are Chica friendly? I'm looking for something in Medellin along the lines of the Hotel Castillo in San Jose. I don't need Chicas to be waiting on site, and I don't plan on having wild frat party style orgies. I'm looking for a place where I can bring one girl (maybe two) at a time and have some fun.

Can't speak for Med, did a little time in Cali instead, but did go to Cartagena for about 10 days and right up to that apt bldg. Almost rented suite 2 in 2005. Boca Grande area, very nice! You can be in the Old City in a short cab ride maybe $3.

La Dolce Vita by the casino across from Del Cameron Hotel is a short trip away, plenty of hotties there and all over town. Safer than the Gulch for walking around I'd say, but cab always wiser of course. I've walked the beach with working girls and felt pretty safe.

Hit Mr. Babillas near the Convention Center to see (and chase) local Colombianas out to dance and party! La Candela bar near the dulce street ...also good.

Love the website made me want to go back NOW!! Cartagena defineltyl worth a re-visit, love to check out Med one day too.
