I have stayed here many times, not really sure what guys are looking for?....For me does it have a shower with hot water,a bed with mattress and a door that locks.Thats all I need to &**$ chicas
Although they amount of honeymooning going on some may want a nicer place I guess. I believe the area is a little more quite than say the del rey and it's walking distance to all the gulch olympics....

I just stayed there for the first time and I had a good experience. It's not posh, but the nicer rooms there, in the old wing, are good enough for me.

The top rooms at the Presidente are much nicer... but much more expensive and they don't really want my kind of business. I'm finished there.

At Castillo, pay in cash and get a discount, on top of the CRT discount... so about $60 a night. It's a little quieter than the SL, and it is VERY chica friendly. The restaurant next door was fine for me as well, and the people are friendly. It will be my first choice next time.
