My first reservation was for the Balmoral, I reserved this room 2 weeks prior my trip. However, the next day I canceled my reservation or tried to. When I called the lady who answered the phone could barely speak english but foolishly I gave her my credit card information thinking I could cancel it without problem. I was told they would send a confirmation e-mail or number to my e-mail but it was never sent. The next day I called them and tried to cancel my reservation but was told they had no reservation for me. I also e-mailed them and was told the same thing. I come to find out they charged my credit card 192 dollars....
Be careful and I wanted to know what you guys think I should do. I e-mailed Balmoral and told them of the mistake and no response so now I will contact my credit card company. I am hoping my credit card company understands the situation...any tips on how I should handle this?
