Hey BD you had 4 guests in one night? Heck with the hotel review, tell us about your 4 chicas!

One was my favorita, the second a masseuse...and the remaining two ... "Avon ladies" from KL.

I also neglected to mention that each room has a small refrigerator big enough for a couple of six packs and some snacks. This feature came in handy since my little Coleman cooler sprung a leak and creates quite a mess.

I enjoyed my 3 night stay there last month. I had the studio apt on the 1st floor. Room included a kichen and a spacious bathroom. Price was about $53. Had no problem with construction waking me up at 9 am because I don't like sleeping any later than that while in CR anyway. I will definately be staying there again in the future. This place will look awesome when the renovations are done and the restaraunt across the tracks is very good. Thanks Matt , see ya again soon.

Is there a fee for bringing a girl back to your room, here is what the websites says:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Guest Policy!
All adult guests have to be registered at the reception desk with either Passport or ID before entering a room, the charge is $ 13.- plus Tax(16%) for any extra Person in room.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also see differences in the discounts claimed from 15/25/30 percent, I have e-mailed them and asked how much for a room during my trip dates, but didn't ask about the guest charges. Anyone comment....I will go back and re-read this thread for tips. Been thinking of staying at SL but this place seems really quite reasonable and walking distance anyway to SL.

Well the thread implies its a pretty safe bet that there is no chica fee despite the website. Gotta appreciate the fact that the owner actually took the time to comment several times. Also hey construction happens, I can get past most noise, heck time to get up anyway.

A good breakfast is nice, and so is a decent bathroom and shower. Not really concerned about TV (or view really) when Im visiting, I will go watch at sports bar. Or take day trip if I want a view. Clean room with a decent hot shower goes a long way, alone or with a girl. A bit out of the center of things for a newbie, but sounds like a reasonable walk and plentiful taxi's around. Walk to area, have some drinks, check out the ladies and take taxi home sounds like a good full day!!

Let me see what kind of rates are available early Dec.

Just babbling to myself here I suppose...planning.

There's no fee if you're a CRT member.

Thanks Shawn4delray; The first floor studio is up to around $61 per night, but sounds fair.

Esp with no chica fees (you were right HikerTom)

$70 plus 16% tax, which I figure comes to $81, then with a CRT 25% off would be

81-20=61

Hard to beat, I will jump on it....45 days to go!

just booked a deluxe for 11 days starting Nov 29/ the online reservation was easy and a confirmation came back the same day.
after being told SL was booked up and i would have to move out the 7th and 8th, (and that of course i would have to move numerous times on the days i was in the hotel anyway) i decided to give amistad a try. dont even have to move during my stay.
thanks for all the info and i will report back of the accomodations etc.

Cool. LaD. I will be there on the first of Dec. Apt on first floor. Have to catch a beer together. First trip to CR. Sounds like having someone to walk to SL/HDR/etc with is the smart way to go. Will bring plenty o taxi money too! Look me up.

The ad at CRT discount section says: No Guest Fees (Please one Guest at a time)! So, is that mean threesome is not allowed? Shoot, that is my childhood dream!! What do I do now, SL is already full.
