Since they don't open until Nov 15th (next week), I doubt you'll get any feedback. :P

This was posted at another thread: I am a friend of the owner, Dennis, and I saw the building before it was purchased. Now, the building has been totally remodeled. Everything is new. The floor tile, bathroom fixtures, bedspread and drapes colors are similar to Hotel Presidente. He has done a great job! Last month I spent five nights in the larger suite. The new large (I thought king size but website says queen size) bed was very comfortable. I think the pillows may be down filled. The kitchen had large refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, and pots and pans/dishes. Bathroom had large shower. Hairdrier was included. The living room area is complete with a wall mounted 32" flat screen TV. Security is good and includes numerous cameras which continually record, in room safe, programable gate and guest room door locks. Also, I understand a nightime security guard starts soon. It is about 3 blocks from the Del Rey. Walk down the hill past Bar New York, past the street Hotel Presidente is on, left at corner of busy street, and look for the flower market. Hotel Freebird is adjacent to it. A good alternative to Hotel Presidente!

Sounds like it could be another option for us. :) Location seems to be reasonable. Now all we need is some recon reports as to : if chica friendly, number of rooms, price, etc.
