I think both the Penthouse and the ZB suites are great places. Reason for the poll was to see what others thought. And its close right now with SL is edging out ZB by a margin of 55% to 45%.

Honestly I dont think you can go wrong with either. Someone mentioned a smell in the ZB suite, I didnt notice any smell in mine. I'll tell you what I did enjoy in my suite, in the few moments when there wasnt a girl around I would relax in the sauna...great amenity.

Dude, those suites smell bad, the beds are horrible, the staff is lousy, and girls for $20? who needs that! Please don't stay at ZB suites... Like Blue Coyote said, the place is horrible...

I agree, you can't go wrong with either. It just comes down to what the purpose of the room is going to be.

Anyone stayed at The MonteCristo Suite???? How was it?

Okay - my two cents:

Just stayed in the Cohiba Suite at the ZB Hotel a week ago, and absolutely loved the room - beautiful and spacious - and it's great having the balcony above outside. My one complaint that no one else seems to have mentioned so far is the high noise level from very busy Avenida 9 on weekday mornings that makes it all but impossible to sleep in very late.

Never have actually stayed in the Penthouse, but have had sex on the couch no less than four different occasions now and once in the jacuzzi. A very cool space, though like the ZB rooms, not ideal for two people, as the second party gets shortchanged with the loft space. And the jacuzzis still rarely have enough hot water available.

Really, the most equitable and comfortable luxury option for two is still the Master Suite at the Presidente, with two fantastic spacious bedrooms and a huge jacuzzi overlooking the city. But then there's that pesky "one chica per occupant" policy...

I have only stayed at the romeo and juliet suite and the cohiba of course, but I look at that one every trip and I really like it alot and have requested it for my trip next month.

I'll take pics and give you guys the rating! Suppose to be th best one there!

trying to book a room there i think EVERYBODY does stay at SL.
would give the penthouse the nod only because of the atmosphere at the lodge.
as far as the penthouse goes im suprised no one notes the fact that the jacuzzis rarely work and never get hot. there is one small shower on the opposite side of the room, so anyone needing to use the bathroom at all must walk through the common area. and the loft is basicallly a bed in a small room.
add in that the vaunted sound system/video extravaganza gets mashed by every simpleton that cant read a manual( it does require common sense) and you basically have a bar in a large room w a kitchen and a couch where you can watch tv or listen to the radio.

have only toured the rooms at zblue but imo they are nice. its just no place if you just want to chill. a little too close downstairs. i prefer it for a visit.
