How about a rule where a newbie's first post cannot contain a declaration for a boycott. If the OP had any sense, he would have at least paid for VIP status to receive the 35% discount that would have almost paid for itself in just a one night stay at the Presidente.

I've personally been on the fence about all the Prez bashing on this board, on the one hand, with over 50 hassle free stays there I feel I should publicly show my support. However like Paco, it's been more and more difficult to reserve some of my favorite rooms, so the less CRT's staying there could work out to my benefit.

But I have to give props where there due -Desea vivo el presidente!

I stayed there in July for the 5th or 6th time and had a billing problem of sorts... I called them when I returned home and was given a free night stay on my next visit....
And the only time they would not let my guest enter, I came back 1/2 hour later with a flat out solid 10 GFE.... Oh baby...

Another time I had 2 young dolls with me and after registering one as my guest, both came upstairs with me... Gentleman, if you present your case nicely and appropriately, you'd be surprised what you can accomplish... Keep it cool, keep it friendly, be nice and respectful, and you are golden, baby...

This dosen't work at all if the chica is on their stupid list. I'll pm the poster with some much better alternatives so he dosen't waste his time and money where his business is not appreciated.

Seems to have worked for some things for TonyTC. Since you were one of the original protesters about the Presidente dress code and stopped staying ther you are hardly one to offer unbiased opinions Shawn.

I like the Presidente, the junior suites and the suites are nice. But why go through all that if you do not have to? Not when there are other alternatives.

That said, if a girl are on the banned list there is probably a damn good reason for it.

True , and I'm not bashing but I understand how these guys feel about it. Some of the guys that have posted on these prez threads haven't dealt with this crap..yet. Plus, I've stayed in a few places that I consider better hotels in part because I didn't have to deal with this smug attitude. My best trips have been the ones that I stayed in these other places. A few guys have said they prefer that we go elsewhere if we don't like it because it opens up a room for them. That works both ways. If these guys are staying at Prez then it leaves room for me somewhere else.... unless jmac has rented them all again because he can't make up his mind. One other thing ... No place has been bashed on this board as much as HDR. Mostly by "post counters" who have never stayed there. It's probably never even crossed their minds that if it weren't for that hotel , they wouldn't be staying at prez or even coming to CR period.

They owe the customer an explanation and all I got was a sorry ass excuse. "I'm sorry, but I don't know. Her name is on the list so she can't come in". I found out 2 days later from another employee that on a PREVIOUS occasion the chica was not wearing her coat when she left the hotel at 3am!

I agree Shawn on that one, a security guy having a bug up his ass is hardly a good reason to put a chica on the list.
re: Jmac holding all the rooms- a member booking a room at the HDR said they now require your flight confirmation before they will reserve you a room, guess that keeps guys from just holding rooms until they decide if they will actually go or not.

I don't think that will curtail the JMac problem. Didn't he book rooms at multiple venues on the same date? In that case he could give a flight confirmation to each hotel.

I have stayed at the Presidente about 5 times this year. The service has been excellent and the staff is professional and courteous. However, there are a few dudes on the midnight shift that tend to be overzealous with respect to the dress code. I was there on Columbus day weekend and the girl I was with was completely covered with an overcoat and the dude still gave me alot of crap about the dress code. After some wrangling he let her in. They need to be a little more consistent with respect to this policy. If a girl is completely covered then they need to let her in.

Having said that I still like the place and will be staying there next weeked and my CRT membership will be paid for in full with their discount to members.

virtually every girl is now on their black list for one silly reason or another, and / or they find a way to not allow them in because of their dress

NO shit.....The Spratt been Black-Listed from there for some BS she pulled.....

But on my last trip the Prez treated me pretty damn good when no other hotel had a room. There are to sides to every coin!!!!

Or better yet...

Two half truths makes the whole truth....After three years of running with the Spratt. All Chica’s lie, some lie better the others. I come to believe that the Prez is just CYA-ing their assets. I'm not saying all the Chica's BLack-list are crimals, but something made them land on the Black-list.

It use to bother me that I could not get the Spratt into the Prez. but that was then and this is now... who cares...nEXT

But of course that is IMHO...

Iggy... :P
