We are running at almost no server load and i've monitored this the last 18 hours or so, please advise we should not have any issues more than a spordic spike...

Might I suggest looking at your database for errors. Most of them have to do with read/writes back to the DB and not with the server hardware itself.

I have had no problems in the past day using IE. All seems to be corrected in the land of fruits and nuts (California) for me.

Maybe it was caused by the near full moon, or the negative energy that seems to be flowing in many of the threads lately which shorted out cyberspace!

IMHO, CRT is about me chasing, young, hot poosey, not whether any other man agrees with my point of view or not, and the tips on where I may go to find it. As always YMWV (Your Milage Will Vary). I will be the first to admit that I am a fat, old man, who doesn't have a clue. If I was so cool, with all the poosey in southern California (gringa, Latina, and Asian), I wouldn't be traveling six hours to pay it.

It was very very slow for a short period this afternoon.

Was extremely slow around noon CR time today. However usually any speed problem in CR is usually a RACSA issue so I never really blame CRT

Seems whatever the problem is its board related.. not more than 10 minutes in duration.. Most likely spam bots, etc that seem to want to attack PHBB2 boards...

We will do a board upgrade Monday the 5th that hopefully will resolve this or I will try to change the server configurations...

It will never last longer than 12 minutes as I have the board resetting at that time, but it bugs me non the less, thanks for the updates I'll work on getting us back to 100% speed and uptime even if it is a minor inconvienience I'm a perfectionist.

At 8:40 AM (10:40 EDT) this morning waited 5 minutes (timed not an estimate) while browser (firefox) tried to connect to CRT . Finally just gave up and waited an hour to try again. No problem this time

I can see the spikes in the server logs, at the times provided, right now I am trying different server settings to see if we can resolve the load issue as there really should be no reason for this to happen....

If you see the dreaded Page can not be displayed I might be resetting the server during one of those outages.. again the problem is fairly sporadic and short term but I am a perfectionist.

I don't know if this is going to fix all the issues (I HOPE SO) but we are now running the most up to date stable software. This should improve board speed, connection issues, as well as the dreaded DOUBLE POST, long time to add posting etc.... (LET US HOPE SO)
