You would only want to stay at this place in an absolute pinch. It's just not what most mongers are looking for, even on a budget.

Ruff it was about some hotel review you gave way back then, I forget which even. El Viejo caught on to it right away. It was a good comparison and current at the time.

I haven't seen this B&B/hostel since last Spring. Somebody should look in and see if it has upgraded which I doubt. Swell location. Like I said before I would sleep there if necessary but I don't know what else I'd do there...It's CR sometimes you put up with a little mold and bugs. (Which I Don't, usually).

I've passed by this place numerous times, and must admit, it piqued my curiousity, :? but really didn't impress me. There appeared to be many people sleeping on the sidewalk and in the doorways at night along this street. Walking down this street in the morning, toward the Del Rey, you could see the remnants of cardboard shelters, human feces, and smell the urine. :o It would be one place, where if you were to bring back a chica, you would definitely want to take a cab. This, despite the fact, that across the street from the hotel is the Judiciary Center, and a short ways down the street from the hotel, and on the opposite side, is a police station [though this police station may have closed].
