I believe it all about Spirit esp. after reviewing their web-page carry on policy. Won't even try to contact them.

TSA only specifies that all dimensions must add up to be less than or equal to 45". American Airlines has the same wording however Spirit has refined it on their site that must be 22" x 13' x 10" or smaller. Well that rules out my suitor which is less than 45" all dimensions added but exceeds either the 13" or 10" dimension requirement by Spirit.

Has anyone else had similar carry on to mine and been rejected by Spirit even though the TSA would not reject it?

When I flew Spirit in August I carried on a small duffle and a backpack, not sure of the size of the duffle but nobody was there taking measurements of any carry-ons. As long as it fits in the overhead or under the seat I think you're good.

In June one of my wingman had a good sized carry-on bag and nodoby said a word to him about it.

I would not bother trying to contact them either, as their customer service sucks. But the booze is the same price as any other carrier in coach and the price is right.

Have never had a problem with my carry on with spirit, and its stuffed. rolling duffle, fits in the overhead, I dont worry about wrinkling up the clothes, Maids at The Castillo take them out rather quickly.
