This thread could have been placed in the Novia section... she and her K*ds will love it.

My novia and I took the K*ds there on Sunday.
Parque de Diversiones is an amusement park located in La Uruca (2km west of Hospital Mexico) Tel: 242-9200.
It's open Fri-Sun from 9am till dusk (I think).
Parking: 2,000¢ and there are buses that run there from downtown, probably dirt cheap. Check their website under "Quiénes somos" and "UbicacÃon" for the bus routes/stops and directions.
General admission: free.
Rides: Two options: You can buy a day pass for 5,100¢ ($10) for any adults and K*ds over 80cm (32 in) tall or 1,800¢ for the little ones. The other option is to buy individual tickets. Tix are 450¢ each. About half the rides take 1 ticket, about half take 2, and 2 or 3 rides take 3 tix. The day pass is a great option
if the weather is nice. If you go on 6 rides (2 tix each), you already break even (compared to buying individual tickets). During the rainy season, it's probably better to buy individual tickets unless you are there at 9am to get in all the rides before the rain comes in the early afternoon. If it rains hard (like Sunday), you will spend most of the day in the large indoor food-court/arcade/game room. The video games/air hockey take tokens (275¢ each). Most games I saw take 1 token.
The rides are ok, nothing special, but the K*ds love them. There is one real roller coaster. No loops but you do twist upside down. It was ok. Takes 3 tix.
There is a special section of the park for the little ones, under 80cm. They can't go on most rides.
Food: There are picnic type tables, so you can make a nice day out of it. The food (greasy fast food... pizza hut, fried chicken, and hamburgers) are relatively expensive.
On Friday's, there is a 2x1 promotion on the day passes.
