"Prostitutes and activists are accusing the Hotel Balmoral in downtown San Jose of discrimination after a hotel employee allegedly denied a group of former and current sex workers from holding an educaution work shop here".
I'll give a short synopsis, apparenly theres a group attemping to organize sex workers in C.R. providing workshops on self esteem and group therapy. the hotel mag. Givanni Garziano told the T.T. the hotel does not discriminate against sex workers, he also said the hotel doesn't promote or profit from prost. of course they ccarge a visitors fee.

Hey, on my first trip in '05 my wingman and I spent over $300 in chica fees... WTF?

This hypocrisy slays me. EVERYBODY in the Gulch makes money from prostitution, from taxistas to restauranteurs to Shoeshine Boy. Hotels, too, even if they don't charge chica fees. The Balmoral's manager's statement isn't just ridiculous, it's an outright lie. Mentiroso.
