Orange,

That post should be a sticky! Probably, it is the best article ever posted on CRT.

Guys: I will be in town on the 30th, just waiting to hear back from the Castillo about my reservation.

Although I'm leaving on Dec. 3 (which is also my birthday), anyone who wants to meet up for a drink while I'm there can feel free to pm me.

Bob

Ok guys, i'm a definate. I was thinking about switching to the amistad, but hotelM came through with a great rate so I'm going to stay there. It's a bit isolated, so if ayone else is thinking about staying there during my dates, let me know.

Nov 28 to dec 3. hope to see you.

Ok, so who is going to be around 11/27 to 12/3? seems like we've got the start of a posse. If anyone is particularly into poker, drop me a line.

I don't think i'm going to bother with the jaco/sailfishing/volcano sidetrip option, but who knows.

MK I want to do all of those, don't say no we can bring chicks fishing with us for fun times!!! Let me know. I am trying to reserve ZB suite. Where you staying?

hotelM. I'm up for a day trip, but I'm leery of long sidetrips, especially ones that might require an overnight. But maybe...

I must admit, I found this post to be very informative when it was first posted... Post-use kudos to Orange for compiling it.

It has been a long time since I read it, and I had forgotten all about it...

Yeah, it probably should be a sticky...

OK n2, i'm up for it, but lets get a group together. When I looked at this last trip, it was pretty expensive to charter a fishing trip, so I'd want to split it up with at least 3-4 guys. Are you planning on renting a car? And what's your plan for getting the chicas to come with us?

My friend has friends meeting us in SJ, we will take the interbus courtesy of Orange connection

Interbus is a great option for travel within Costa Rica. To Jaco, it costs $19 per person each way. Door-to-door service, they pick you up at your hotel and drop you off at your Jaco hotel.

They use 8-person mini-buses with A/C. But they are never full, lots of room and very comfortable. They make 1 rest stop but they can stop for you to use a restroom whenever you want. Drivers usually speak English.

A personal driver is cool, but it'll cost you $70+ each way, especially 2 days apart.

So maybe monday head there come back tuesday pick up chicks at beatlebar???? or bring some from SJ.

Hi fellows, just wanted to bump this post up some.
myself and a newbie will be hitting town on Nov. 30.
staying at the SL, so some football watching on Sat. and Sun
afternoon will be involved.
Plan on doing happy hour at the BM on Friday just to blow
my newbie friend's mind
Just love to see the look on a first timers face!!
thinking of visiting Arcadas and Molino Rojo on Saturday or Sunday night. Maybe a trip to Pantera Rosa or Kumar will be included. And will be checking out the progress of the Horseshoe Casino.
feel free to come over and join us for a couple of drinks and say
"hello" I will be wearing a black or blue ball cap.
horndog
