I'll be somewhere from 11/21 to 11/26, the SL has no rooms available for all those days. I couldn't resist the TACA rate LAX-SJO $275.44. Plus only two vacation days for six days in CR.

I haven't made room reservations yet. Maybe CCI for me!!!

I will be arriving 21 nov and departing 25nov. My first time there. Hope to meet some people to show me around. Anyone have suggestions on hotels. I was thinking Hotel M. but dont know. Let me know

I can tell you the Sportsmens is booked up. For a first timer, I always suggest the Del Rey but others always say no.

The Amistad is turning into a nice choice, the Castillo is an option as well if you want a quiet place near the gultch. There is the Clarion Amon as well and Hotel Zona Blue but not sure if they will have rooms available.

Finally, there is the Hotel Morazan as well.

Hope that helps and always stop by the Sportsmens Lodge where you will find many of us nursing a drink or two and telling outrageous lies to one another.

I will be going to CR for my first time!

I will be arriving on the 22nd, thanksgiving day, and will be in country till december 1st. My plan is to stay in San Jose for a few days at least, but I am going to venture further north, and then west, perhaps heredai for a day, but I need to get to Lake Arenal where the kiteboarding is supposed to be good - and might make it as far as guancastle.

If anyone in here is into kiteboarding (or would like to learn) I am bringing my own equipment. I also want to go to some beaches for some scuba diving. I heard that the beaches in, and around, guancastle are great for both kiteboarding AND diving.

So, if anyone knows something about getting laid in the rural areas - give me a shout. I might look for the elusive, and cheap, GFE - while in san jose, and then take her road tripping with me... though I think that having multiple women my first few days is key. I am thinking two chicks at the same time might need to happen before anything else. I just broke up with my fiance - and it was the bullet that wizzed by my head, let me tell ya.
