hello Forum;
I've doing some home work before posting my question so I hope you guys can help out.

Im planning to visit Jaco in 3 weeks with another 2 guys and after reviewing all the information available I found that the Poseidon might be the right choice for us, even though all the info I found was 1 to 2 years old. So I just want to confirm if evrything still cool

Just call and they offer rooms for $65 a night.

My questions are:

1- Still chica friendly?
2- Chica fee charge?
3- And the basics: Safe? Location?

All your advice will be very appreciated.
Thanks guys
m.

1- Still chica friendly? As of April 07 Yes. But I always call or email, and inquire about a hotels "guest" policy to confirm. It takes 5 mintues and could save $$ as things do change.
2- Chica fee charge? $10 per chica as of April 07
3- And the basics: Safe? Location? Close to the bars & beach.

I think chica fee is $20 now. Stayed there a few nights last week while having problems in my apt. with the AC. The rooms have been redone over the past 2 years and are nice. One request, send the hookers on the way after sex. Realy annoying having prostitutes upstairs in the sky lounge when you are trying to watch sports. Some there last week who obviously don't belong in a nice setting.

Three of us stayed there last November, one of the guys knew the owner ,not personally, but had stayed there before. Got a reduced rate, no chica fees. A good safe place, night time security, would stay there again. I can't remember the owners name but hes' a gringo. If you use the search function I wrote a trip about Jaco, to me it was a scary place I was offered hard drugs numerious times when walking back to the hotel, alot of street people and thugs hanging out on the Calle, unless things have drastically changed I personally would not go back. Again every person has different comfort levels. The younger you are, the more adventureous and bullet proof you are.
I don't think 65$ is a bad price, but remember most everything is C.R. is negotiable.so is the chica fees.
