I am hopelessly indecisive when it comes to picking a hotel in CR. I have been thinking that a valuable tool for CRT, especially the newbies, would be a hotel matrix that lists the following information:

• Hotel name
• Room rates
• Location
• Maybe cab fare to the DR?
• CRT sponsor?
• Chica friendly/chica fees
• Internet access? Free?
• Free breakfast?
• Restaurant on-site - hours
• Bar on-site - hours
• Chicas on-site
• AC
• Noise levels
• Safety factor (crime, fire, etc.)
• Etc..
• Room safe (size…will laptop fit?)
• ATM and currency exchange

It would be fairly easy to get input from the various CRTers who have stayed at the various locations. With this information compiled and updated it might save a lot of questions and discussion. With cooperation of a few of us this would be a fairly easy task.

I am thinking of an end product similar to RBC100s list or possibly a map similar to the GR map with the information listed on the same printable page.

If you want I'll compile it into a spreadsheet and keep the results updated. Just PM me with your answers and I'll get it started.

I just got home from a short trip. Has anyone PMed any info for this. I can write up good reports for the Pres, DR, Villa Tournon

3PBG - do you think this will gather the interest necessary to make it worthwhile?

I don't think there is sufficient interest to justify the effort to compile and maintain the list.

Ok.. here are my choices.. Sportsmans and Castillo are booked solid..

What do you guys recommend??

Hotel Morazan (is there chica fee?)
Hotel Europa (chica fee??)
or
Hemingway (i'm waitng to see if i can get $10 chica fee waived)

I've never stayed at any of the above but would appreciate any insite you guys can provide. I stayed at Hotel Castillo 2 years ago so that is only hotel I know. Thanks.
