I have to agree with El C on the lack of signage...it is indeed hard to find for a first timer. As for the music, I never really took notice to it.

I must disagree with Dswan, however. I have been very much pleased with the food, service, etc. at Cafe Mundo. It is one of my favorite places. The host, who I assume is a young Canadian man, has always been extremely accommodating and helpful.

Dswan had mentioned "displaying a Ben Franklin." In all fairness to Cafe Mundo, they do display a sign and also mention it in the menu that they do not accept American one hundred dollar bills......quite typical at many CR establishments.

I must say the place has greatly improved since several years ago.

Personally......everything I had ordered during my June/July trip was excellent. :)
