I flew Spirt for the first time in August. Arrived at the airport here in CR 3 hours before the 12:45 pm flight. Only problem I had was I forgot to pay the exit tax before I got in line. Was at the gate in less than an hour, thus had to wait there for 2 hours. Plane loaded and left on time. And going thru imigration and customs in FLL sure beats MIA. Plus FLL is only 20 minutes from my daughter's house.
Came back on the 11pm flight. Again at FLL 3 hours ahead of flight time. Checked 2 bags (Prepaid on line) but had to pay $25 for one being overweight (all those Ipods and nike shoes get heavy) The overweight fee is the same as other airlines. Had to wait ablut 15 minutes for the baggage idiots to take my bags. AGAIN WAS THRU SECURITY AND AT THE GATE IN LESS than an hour. Plane left on time and arrived on time.
Arriving in San Jose at 11:45 is great--was out of the airport in 15 after deboarding. Customs (for the second time) didn't even take my form and paid no attention to my bags.
