I just had breakfast there today.

Waffles , ham , hashbrowns cooked with a little onion in them. :D

Phucking Great!

Hope all the good fellows in town this week end can stop in and give Mark and Bruce their support.

Lets keep a good thing going.

What happened? Went there this morning at 8:50 and the place was closed up tight. If they are not open for breakfast on a Saturday morning do not think they are going to be successful.

Has Bruce's been open recently? Sounded like a good option...

Opened around August 20 and closed by Sept. 8 (maybe earlier). Might have set a record for quickest restaurant failure in Costa Rica. :P

Yes, some of the expats who live downtown gather there in the morning.

ID,

I recall your questioning the wisdom of the location of this type of restaurant, particularly given its proximity to Amon Plaza. Clearly, Bruce neglected to ask your considered opinion!

Least could have done is to stay open long enough for me to have given it a try. Had two CRT brothers with me the morning I drove downtown only to find it closed  Had to go back to Sabana and eat at the California Diner. Which was good but was looking for another place to add to our Saturday breakfast list.

Too bad it didn't stay open long enough for you to try. It's too late now for me to cut and paste my review from my recent trip report, but the condensed version, FWIW, is: Breakfast is excellent; burgers suck.
