Latin artists Marco Antonio Solis,Juanes,Ricardo Arjona, and Reik are quite popular amongst the chicas.Latina artists Paulina Rubio,Julietta Venegas,Shakira, and Natalia Jimenez(La Quinta Estacion)will all have appeal to the chicas. One last artist that is still very popular is Daddy Yankee.

I have my doubts that chicas truly like jazz. Hell, the vast majority of American don’t truly love jazz. The current market share of Jazz in the US is mere 3% among. That statistic runs the gamut of all music sold. From established great musicians such as John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker and Miles Davis all the way to the shittiest such as Kenny G, jazz does not sell and therefore one can surmise that very small percentage of the population actually like jazz. Many people may tolerate it and may actually sort of enjoy it as soft background music in a bar, the park or at a cocktail party. I believe that most (not all) people that claim to love jazz make the claim because they believe that will be perceived as hip or enlightened because they choose to listen to jazz.

At home I think Led Zeppelin's first album is the ultimate boning soundtrack.
But for CR my Ipod is loaded up w/ the latest Latina hits, compiled from Serius Radio Ultimo Latino.
This weekend I'll try & hook uo w/ Prostoner & upload these Latino songs so they can be used by all.
It's actually some great music.

You know you can doubt all you want but until you can tell us what is going on in a womans mind keep your opinions to yourself

Also of far of jazz goes there is a melting pot of people at any jazz concert I attend. People from all walks and different stages of life. Only Jazz can do that!!! Just at the great jazz fair this weekend in RDU and I can assure you what your just said would be considered BS to all that attended

Having fond flashbacks to Rocking Dominicana who would only listen to my Prince CD, especially Little Nicky and Cream while working me over.

I am never going home

Dig if u will the picture
Of u and I engaged in a kiss
The sweat of your body covers me
Can u my darling--can u picture this?

Dream if u can
A courtyard
An ocean of violets in bloom
Animals strike curious poses
They feel the heat
The heat between me and u.......

Prince "When Doves Cry"....

I worked a chica up against a wall to that song.

Wow, I was in high school when Purple Rain came out. Great music for working a lady, that's for sure.

In my experience, the chicas show no interest in jazz. Ok, I haven't played it for everyone of them, just a sampling.
My favorites are Dexter Gordon, Hank Mobley, and Monk.

Every chica (women of color) has rhythm. And Jazz is the king of all rhythm. Each time I am with a chica there is jazz in the room and they comment on the love of the music. So for the life of me I cannot fiqure out where you are getting these chicas that have no interest:?
