Good topic, Mr. Circus. I always assumed that like me, you either were or always wanted to be a carny. Don't ask me why but that seemed like an interesting lifestyle to travel around the country selling tickets to see the fat woman, and operating rigged games to watch befuddled boyfriends try to win stuffed animals for their girlfriends. The dental plan though, seemed kinda bad.

As for me, back in 1984 I had been the perfect boyfriend to this gringa...gave her all my love, support, money etc. The cunt was a useless bitch who gave nothing in return. I dumped her and then swore myself to fun, and loyal to none. I broke my promise to myself with a girlfriend or two since then, but mostly its been a wild ride...

My alma mater is Syracuse University, class of 99. Our sports teams are called the "Orange".

BTW, for about a million years, we have been called the Orangemen/Orangewomen, until angry femi-nazi gringas got them to change that sexist names to just plain Orange about 2-3 years ago. You gotta love how quickly/easily the school administrators caved in to these bitches. They're already without balls from their gringa wives, so obeying fat gringas comes natural to them. Alumni (even the females) were furious. They basically shit on our tradition because some fat-assed gringas, who have absolutely no ties to the university, thought the names were sexist.

They were forced to change from the "Redmen" because it was "politically" incorrect according to some activists.

A few years ago the NCAA started forcing teams who names were based on Indian names or nick names to change them. Floria State appealed and presented evidence from the Seminole tribe that they were proud of the "Noles" and there Indian Chief, on a horse in warpaint, riding into the stadium and planting a spear on the 50 yard line at the start of home games.

The NCAA backed down.

I'm enjoying this diverse group and their reasons for adorning various handles. Some handle can tell alot about a person, some can be random, some can derive from a sudden thought....... or they can be just an Alter Ego.

For what it's worth....those who do not know me well, Circus comes from a factual background. And no, Partyanimal, I was not a carny although I've known some very talented ones from the midway of various shows.

I was a Circus performer at FSU for four years and also worked with Ringling in Sarasota, Fl. Main acts included high wire aerialist, rolla-roller ballancing act, hand ballancing group act, ballancing perch pole and a two man juggling act. And yea.....clown acts. I specifically enjoyed doing an Emmett Kelly (Weeping Willy) act. I got to know Kelly Sr. and his son who replaced his father in the act. True artists in greasepaint and the art of clowning.

I use to strole up and down Avenue Central in my sad clown outfit entertaining the Ch*ldren (not to mention mama chicas) and doing stints with the street musicians and bartars. It was hoot and led to many funny situations.

Life.... is truly a circus. And what's more important is to be able to laugh at yourself. Yeah, I'm just pitiful.

Mine happens to be a simple request.

The true story is that I was just sitting at the computer trying to come up with a name that didn’t require any numbers after it so I’d be original and “crooked” seemed like a good idea but it figured it was already taken so it put the “CR” on the end and then thought it looked cool starting and ending in “CR”

What I wanted to say was that “ook” is an acronym on the jargon of binary communication for “on-off keying” to describe a stream of 1’s and 0’s in binary code. “ook” has also become slang among tech-geeks for an overwhelming or large number of things. [Before I have my shot of vodka in the morning, there are ooks of gnats flying around my head] Ooks could also describe the supply of chicas in the DR. So I went to CR and got ooked by all the chicas = CRooked.

…..maybe I should go get that shot of vodka right now.
