I made about 30 trips to CR up to 2/06, Super Bowl, and had similar feelings to GR, also caused by a chica. I stayed away due to certain business reasons (like having to make some money after a few bad investments).
I now look forward to my return on 8/31 like a K*D. The positive feelings about the country and the people full my heart and mind.
Also fond memories of banging chicas, dancing and drinking tequila are buzzing in my head.......big and small.

GR, There has been alot wrote between the begging of this thread and now. I just want to say I agree with the gist of your thread.
