The date works great for me!

Will be in town early with my wingman Aldo and we would love to attend the birthday fiesta. I love that celebrity like reception the birthday gets at Idem also..

DonGordo also gets celebrity attention elsewhere on his birthday. They had a cake for him later that night over at Key Largo and he got hugs and kisses from the bartender. I think they actually bought him a drink! It creates a "halo effect" for hangers on like myself, so I won't miss it either.

You guys have to know that Ciaociao`s birthday is Aug 29. Last year at midnight we celebrated" a :D "joint birthday" :D fiesta with cake, candles and chicas at the Key Largo. Hopefully we will do it again this year.

I am very sorry that my mother was so inconsiderate as to not wait until the 29th or 30th of August 62 years ago !!!
Seriously guys...I appreciate all of the birthday wishes from all of my CRT brothers, especially those who took the time to express regret about missing the festivities next week. I think that my good friend Vegas Bob put it very well when he said "It's the social event of the season....and the food is good too." It is not really a birthday party but it just happens to fall on my birthday every year and has become a wonderful tradition.
I spoke with Sergio at Costa del Sol tonight and they are looking forward to being our hosts once again. I hope that anybody who is in town will come and join us for a memorable evening of camaraderie and good old fashioned bullshit.
