On the half day, negotiate in advance for details--one important one being make sure they have the right bait ready, and not blow one of your hours fishing for bait before you start fishing--they love that trick.

Scuba--Quepos/MA not the best place.

Hotels on the hill. alot. Do a search for Quepos or Manuel antonio and you will find alot of guys have contributed, and look at mine, I know I have left a couple of long posts on that.

Nice place, my favorite.

I like karahe about 80 bucks or Verde Mar a little cheaper only because they are the only two right on the beach. Lots of nice hotels in the area there but up on the hill or off the beach. Verde mar also has little kitchens --great for coffee and cokes and beer and fruit and whatreve welse you can load up on at eh Mas X Menos across from the bus station. Saves you a lot of time and money for quick hits. Good reswtaraunts near by, a couple right on the beach by Verde mar, Mar y Sombra and Cafe Baru, more a little further towrsd the park _Lobster is one of em, a few more. bring coffee filters.

If you have a hotel recommendation I would love to hear it. I really don't have the time to search every Quepos report to sort hotels out. Thank you!

If you are going with a chica, I can recommend the two hotels I have stayed at in Manuel Antonio, Casitas Eclipse and El Mansion. I discuss them further in my July and Super Bowl trip reports (assuming you have time to find them  ).

Ciaociao
