I noticed that the number of CRT members seems to be climbing quickly.
Does this mean that:
A- Men who were already mongering in CR have heard about the site and joined or
B- EVer increasing numbers of new mongers are coming to CR?
It is probably a combination.
If the numbers of total sex tourists to CR is increasing , how will this effect our hobby in San Jose?
It could either drive up prices and ruin it or maybe more girls will join the biz and more high end MP will open up. The town could use a few more ZB or Nf type places. Let me know what you think.

I don't think you have to worry about the MP's. I would say that about half of the unknowing gringos who come to CR, never leave the Del Rey. Most don't know about massage parlors.

An acquaintance of mine who always tells me about his ventures to the DR told me he was checking out Costa Rica. I tried to sum up your guide for him Orange... he left the HDR to get advil.... once...

I think you're right, most people, especially new travelers, do not know about anything else there.

I bet more people are googling and landing here, but i have a feeling that more people are posting and joining, I see a lot of posts pf people that say they've been here many times, just finding CRT now.

Well, let me add my 100 colones. As I have stated previously, the board was EXTREMELY helpful to me. Now, I met 2 chicas at the DR, but they were not my best experiences. The best one, the GFE, I met on my own after visiting a MP.

Regarding prices, I offer this: If anything, at least in my case, this board probably kept the prices down for me. First, I would have overpaid had I not read the board. Second, I would have probably not found the MP scene. I would have walked past the local ones that I visited, and both provided great experiences: Including the one chica who looked like the daughter of one of my friends.

Knowledge is power, so if more people go and go with this knowledge, then we have a good thing.

I see a lot of chicas in CR that look like/remind me of a very attractive gringas back home that i know that would be impossible/off limits back home. Then I can induldge my fanatasy

If you talk to the working girls, in THEIR opinion, business is lousy and has been for quite a while. Not enough gringos. So, makes me wonder if the number of mongers is actually increasing that much.

At the same time, even the same night, I hear guys whining that there's 'nothing' in the Del Rey. Sounds like we have a 'half-glass empty' kind of thinking going on, perhaps?

Professor made some good points. This web site allows us to control prices and quality to a certain extent. Info sharing is a beautiful thing.

I am of the same mindset on this as the professor. Without this site (discovered the week before my first trip) I would have not had the requisite knowledge. Thanks to this site I spent a minimum of time at my hotel (dr) and was able to discover other "tourist attractions" such as zb and nf. I also popped in muses and europa 2000 but did not conduct business at those two.
As for my original thoughts:i was surprised that I did not encounter more monger types. Sure there were a couple dozen at hdr on friday night, but the gulch certainly did not seem overrun by gringos. Hopefully we will see more girls entering the game, as even at prices we are comfortable with, there seems to be more money at this than other professions in cr. It seems whoring has been going on in asia for quite some time, and all I hear from the posters on this board who frequent there is how cheap the action is. So I am not worried that we will get outpriced in cr, but what do I know?

One factor that perhaps should be considered is the number of CRTs who contribute with numerous postings but actually go to CR once or maybe twice in a year.
