I have stayed at the Del many times. Yes they do ask for a faxed signature and that kind of thing. I have never had a problem w/ it in the past.

It would be interesting to see a copy of the e-mail exchange the gentleman on the WSG had with the fake Del Rey. I've made several reservations with them since they started this new policy have not had a problem.

last year it was a $200 hold on my card (2 nights), But I was read for it. The year before I got hit with a $275 hold on a $500 credit limit card. That was for 3 nights. I did not have room on my credit card to pay my bill and on top of that I had 3 $100 dollar bills the hotel would not take or exchange. At times like that it is nice to have a good wingman.
