This discussion thread probably suited for another Topic Header but nice to read that VB is still as animated as he was when I was in town. They had just started this policy the second day of my trip of charging the girls one drink at the Monkey Bar before getting permission to enter the BM.

When VB heard this was happening from one of his Novia’s he hit the roof and made a Big Issue of this in Public…. I actually thought we were going to get tossed from the bar. If you could have seen that Doorman’s face looking at VB giving his rant it was priceless. Bottom Line VB got his way that day and he got not only His Novia in but some of her girlfriends in as well.... Vegas was one Fired Up Pitbull that Day!!

The Issue is Clear if not for the girls that bar would be empty. Surely we don’t go for the Drinks and the Music…. Some of the gals come to work with Nothing in their pockets or have not made any $$$’s the night before. And to charge them for admission when they are the show seems ridicules. How much is too much, it’s bad enough that the Del Rey gets $10 a bump each time a gal goes up those elevators.

Perhaps Jimmy seems mercenary to you, but did it ever occur how you appear to other members here. You seem to expect to always get something for nothing. Passing on free info is something we do because we want to, not because we have to. It is not an entitlement. If Jimmy wants to make a small (or even a large) return for his efforts and the knowledge that he passes on about DR that is completely his decision as it is the decision of those mongers that visit DR whether to pay that price. Nobody is saying you have to pay for his sex tours as it seems to be out of your price range anyway. So I suggest you put a sock in it.

Besdies, unlike you, at least Jimmy was not so cheap as to not be willing to cough up the paltry $36 CRT membership. He has come to our board in earnest seeking knowledge, contributing and not bashing other members (the way all members should) and, aside from a sigline link to his FREE forum, he has not tried to market anything here. Hardly what one would expect based on your characterization. When or if you ever decide to join CRT formally maybe then you might increase your credibility (but not by much). Then you might also have earned the right to criticize other VIP members. Until then I suggest you tread carefully as Jimmy has a lot more friends around here then you.

CR is a highly recommended place and I intend on visiting once a year. Membership here is important. My board is one of many boards on Dominican Republic and information is knowledge.

ha ha ha you guys kill me. $35 is a lot of money in CR but who cares you are in CR the land where everything is posible. Anyway, presently in Jaco and for those who go there and if I happen to be there, you can usually find me around happy hour at the bar Ohio which is next to the beach. Look for the gringo chinese guy with the famous blue baseball cap.

You save by being a member. I think I will save about $40 my first trip there.

Of course you save by being a member. Especially if you are new to CR. In my case, I've been here long enough that I usually get pretty good discounts even though the ZB discount is awesome. So I do agree that it is worth it to pay the dues. Even if you are a poor expat living in DR and making a bit above tico wages. Boo hoo hoo I can only afford to go mongering 5 days a week!!!! By the way, am in jaco right now and I mispelled the name of the bar, it's Bohio at the beach. Will be here til friday cause I got to get back to work and I got to go toNeiling's b-day party friday. Be there if you want a chance at her!!!!

True, $35 is a lot to some people, but it shouldn't be to someone who has often stated in the past that he likes to pay significantly more than the going rate for senoritas. These comments were also coming from someone who previously maintained that its no one else's business how he or other people choose to spend their money and who is now apparently criticizing a VIP member who purportedly marketed his services to other "free-spenders". Also, guys like you and circus, while not contributing through VIP membership here, have already contributed significantly through informative and/or entertaining posts whereas. This character has never contributed anything of value to this site either financially or informatively and has only offered inflammatory, antagonistic or downright insulting posts. Everyone, whether paying members or visitors, is welcome to come here to share or gain knowledge, but I think it only fair that one earn the right to openly and unfairly criticize VIP members, who have at least contributed something, by making at least some postive posts
